Our spa cover is anchored to the spa cabinet, so it's supposed to be major storm worthy. Other than that, we treated the vinyl cover with a protective coating they recommended we apply a couple times a year. I don't know if there's anything we can do to protect against hail, but then hail in Tampa, FL., is extremely rarel.

Thanks. We are so totally happy with how the project turned out. It may be a small back yard, but it's certainly one very inviting back yard to spend time in. Yes it is!!

That all sounds good. Was just curious.
I hadn't thought about you not getting hail, but that makes sense. Ah well, we don't have to worry about dropping/blowing coconuts. So I guess it all balances out.

You've definitely got a magazine worthy outdoor living space, that's for sure!!
I'd have that pic as a screen saver at work just to torment myself.

I've been going through the little samples of juice that ProVape sent the last few months with orders I placed. Really enjoying the tobacco flavors, but to me the flavor is very strong. I cut them 1 part juice to two parts non flavored base. I had almost forgotten how much flavor vendor juice had in it because I've been vaping DIY for so long now.

To make room for the VP-4 I had, of course, to put the VP-2 away.

This led to an examination of the sliders, on the VP-2, which (turns out) were pretty grungy.

My solution to keep the Vp-4 in better nic?

Unplug. Flip over. d'uh.

A frying pan is a terrible thing to waste.

I posted the message below in another thread and though I would post here as well. I think the banks, USPS, Fed EX, UPS etc. are getting prepared for their part of what is coming to hit us next. We have been very focused on the deeming regulations, vendors, nic suppliers etc. and speculating as to what will take place there. BUT I think we may have bigger problems that come up far before the two years until this all goes in to effect.
Story below:

I think there are a lot of things going on quietly behind the scenes that the public is not even aware of.
I had something odd happen with a purchase last week. I think the cc processors and getting ready to track or maybe halt transactions like Paypal has done.

Most of the time I use a debit card that also serves as a credit card and I only put only as much money as I need right then- in the account to make the purchase. That way if the card is ever compromised there is nothing in the account but a couple of dollars. Last weekend, I made a purchase from a vendor that I have purchased from for almost 4 years. In this thread I will tell you the vendor was Provape. My card was denied. I thought maybe I put the numbers in wrong, so I ran it again and the bank locked my card. I knew that I had more funds in that account than I needed for this particular purchase because I was going to make several purchases that night and put enough in to cover all of them, Provape was first. It was the weekend so I went ahead and used a cc to make the purchases.
Monday morning when I called to inquire why my card was being denied, she put me on hold and came back and quoted the amount that had been denied twice and said that those purchases were listed as 'Cigar & Tobacco now. That the processing company had just made some changes and this was a new category. She was very chatty and seemed a little nervous. I point blank asked her if the charges were denied simply because they were in that category. She stumbled around over that for a minute and then tried to reassure me that something that either I had done on my end, or something in the system had triggered a red flag, so the sale was denied and my card was locked.

HMMMMMMMM---I didn't buy it--My gut tells me that they are all getting set up to deny those purchases in the future because the processing companies will not process them if they are in the 'new Cigar & Tobacco category. There only a couple of Processing companies when it comes down to it and they are beholden to the government because of the bailouts--Even if the banks or states don't object--they can't process them anyway because they are connected to the processing companies to get their funds. If that is going on--then I am sure the USPS / Fed EX/ UPS etc. are all have 'meetings' as to how they will proceed.

Our problems may escalate sooner than we think--the vendors my have two years, but even though they have two years, if you can't pay for it, and it can't be delivered then...we have a problem. I am just feeling a sense of urgency to get what I need NOW.

Small data point: I just received an order (of Gold Rush eLiquid) from ProVape with no problems, using their 25% off sale. The order was placed on 8/10 and received on 8/13. Processed using VISA CC. (i.e. not a debit card).

Maybe worth keeping notes here to see what's happening with this.

I hate to say I "like" this. I've had the same problem ordering drugs from overseas. No narcotics, just something for vertigo. I work in a bank, so I can call the CC people and get the charge approved. Still, it's a mess, and I need to order again today. I hope we don't have to start doing this with every purchase. Maybe using PayPal will help?
