Hey Stover ... I gave this example in another thread ...

First off, on the 901, don't take LONG drags ... Keep them short and simple ... 2-3 seconds at most ...

Example:
You add 4 drips of liquid.
1-7 drags taste great
Drag #8 tastes a little *off*
Drag #9 tastes burnt ...

Try to catch #8 so you never get the burnt taste. You could also be burning off excess priming fluid which doesn't taste the greatest ...

And major props for going all out on your first PV ... Nothing --> Prodigy ... Quite a large jump if I do say so myself

Thanks for your kind advice. I will do as you say and see if I can get in the groove. I really can not take a drag longer than one or two seconds or I choke. I puts out that much vapor and I have smoked a pack a day for over 30 years. So far I really like it and I have not had an analog, nor do I crave one, since I unboxed and fired off this beauty.

I could not be more happy...

I had one friend giving me a hard time but another one who has been digging my 901 and 510 who just went nuts.

Now that I have the prodigy I sent him home with my 901, some instructions on vaping and a spare bottle of some old juice I had lying around.

Steve... you rock.

Anyone else the worrying type and scared they will now screw up their baby and have to revert back to one of their older e-cigs?

I'm feeling lucky. Have a trip this weekend and had hoped against hope that I would be able to make it sans analogs. Looks like I may just be able to do that. When I started down the vaping way I researched it extensively, looking for a primary company to do business with. I made a good choice with Pure Smoker, and I am eager to get back on the wagon. I post very little but read every day. The constant updates are truly appreciated.
A quick off-topic (although that seems status quo question. I have only dealt with the 901 so far. I ordered blank carts, filled carts, and also dripped. Didn't think about carts when I ordered the 801 and V1. Will the spare atty's I ordered come with a cart, or just a tip? I didn't notice a section to order carts on the newly designed (to me) PS site. I can deal with dripping no prob, but carts would be nice for the long drive.

They come with a tip only.

Since using the V1 I've only been dripping and it couldn't work better. I definitely understand about wanting a cart for long drives.
