wow, I am glad I found this thread. I really thought there was going to be a 5v prodigy v2 that would use the same adapters as the protege/PS PT. The typo is still on the site. I have been holding out on picking up a prodigy V1 in anticipation of being able to have your entire product line with one set of adapters.

I just blew my budget on stockpiling atty's or I would have picked up a v1 tonight if I had found this earlier.

So to clear things up further, two questions:

will there be a revision to the Prodigy v1?

are there plans for a 5v model that will utilize the same adapters as the PS PT/Protege?

Thanks,
-Jason

From my understanding.....

...There will not be a V2 any time soon...but...a stainless steel Prodigy is in the future or near future, would still use adapters for the V1 but not the Protege/PT.

Don't know about the 5v using PT/Protege adapters other than the PT is 5v.

in that case i think im going to have to blow the budget and place my order tonight. I NEED 5v all day... ;)

Actually, slight correction to this guys.

There will be a Prodigy V2- slightly modified from the original. I can't quite say what all it's going to be since Steve is in charge and all that jazz, but it will still be 5v.

Protege= separate device. Was originally going to be the V2, but instead evolved into something completely different.

Then the PP is going to be the third device in the PureSmoker family, and no details have been released about it yet.

Hope this helps clear things up!

Prodigy V2 will be very exciting. Not only will it vap at 5V, but it will double as a TV remote, set your clocks to be in sinc with the Naval Atomic clock each time you vap and when vap'n in public it will cause others, who do not have one, to bow down and chant, "We are not worthy" as you walk by.

I'd like to see it slimmed down too, so they don't rattle around..and stainless steel, so the powdercoat doesn't chip off! Or brass, because gold is just classy y'know :) Although brass tarnishes...more maintenance..okay SS it is :)

Well I'd handle the rattle around bit, but I'm holding out for stainless steel -- until then, I have the ultimate vaping machine and I'm sticking with it! (although that hookah thing I see on the chinese suppliers pages just makes me want to get it just because! hehe)
