I just lost my Protege.... WTF.....

Looking everywhere for it...

Damnit...

I sat the Prodigy in front of it and lost it... lol... Seriously lost it for about ten minutes until I picked up the Prodigy again and said you dumbass...

LMAO....

LOL ... Oi vey .... I lose my Protege all day every day. I spend atleast 15 minutes a day looking for it. Between here, upstairs, around my modding table/desk, car, or at the shop ... its always lost!

When I first took it out of the packaging I knew I was going to loose this little thing... That could be a good thing for sales... lol... I might have to pick up an extra just for times that one is lost.. Or maybe you could put some gps location device in there...I know you have the technology. Click your right mouse button and the Protege starts beeping...

vapn ... I would need one of those GPS thingy's for my keys AND protege ... I lose both daily ... If I find one, I still can't find the other.

Now, when I think about it ... whenever I set my protege down, i sit there and remind myself where I put it, so later, I can find it quite easily!!!! only works for about 1 out of every 10 times i set it down though ... LOL

If you are able to take the protege apart and reassemble and the switch isn't stuck on until you push it, the switch itself isn't fried ... Thus, my assumption it was misaligned.

If it's misaligned I think it's because of the chip in the plastic I pointed out. I'm out of ideas and descriptions so off to the Post Office Tuesday.

Interesting ... That could be it ... If that middle plastic piece is slightly misaligned, it will make both top pieces of aluminum do the same. It won't press down centered like it should be ... and the switch make get stuck. I'll give it a good look over when it comes in Gary and get you another asap!

Guys, Steve and I WILL be working tomorrow, so if you've sent an email, I'll be looking at it tomorrow morning, and getting all the replacements set up and in order. Sorry about the lack of email responses this weekend, but sometimes Steve and I also need the weekend to destress ;)

Thats ok and good for you both. I figured that you would get back to me, us on monday. You two work hard to make sure that we get taken care of. Thanks for all and look foward to being able to use my Protege again. It is the best PV I have ever used. Simple things sometimes go bad. My switch not working, is not even in my top 10 of bad things this last month or so. You two will take care of us and I will be back to using my wonderful Protege. Thanks from Dwaine aka dilutetrips.

I heard from you today. My switch is in the mail to you. Well in the mail box. I am glad over the quick response on Monday. I look foward to using my Protege again soon. If I am lucky I will be able to use it by next weekend. Thanks again and the Protege is wonderful. Will be even bettere when I can use it again.

My stick has not stuck yet...however, I purchased 2 Proteges. On #1 the button operates smoothly and quietly. On #2, the button clicks when pressed and again when released. Does anyone know if their button was clicking and then stuck? If Steve or Casey read this, should I just wait and see if it sticks or return it before it does? TIA!

Dilute, let's just put it this way- I've started kickboxing. ;) Blowing off some steam at the end of the day and trying to remember that people generally don't mean 1/2 the crap they write in their emails. I understand being frustrated with the situation, but we're doing the best that we can to make sure that everyone's switches get replaced and everyone is left with a fully functional ridiculous vaping machine. :) Let's all just take a deep breath and remember that PS is only 2 people.

LOL, I don't think anyone wants to be my man friend this week.

Poor guy- really a trooper listening to my ranting and raving. Even been so sweet (or terrified of my wrath!!) that he's done all the laundry this week, cleaned the entire apartment, planned dinner 3 days in a row, and changed the oil in my car <3

Sorry, thread clutter. Sticky switches are getting repaired. Usually have a 2 day turn-around at this point.

He knows that you are getting good at the kickboxing that's all. You got him running scared. But it sounds like he really wants to be there, or you are making him one happy man!... You better keep that one.

We've got a shop manufacturing everything for us- but all repairs are done by Steve. He's also at the shop most days helping solder switches, testing stuff, being an evil genius, etc etc etc. I'm here holding down the fort packing orders, answering emails, keeping all ya'll on the boards calm as I can, twittering, and packaging replacements :)
