Maybe it was that this was my first vape on a provari, but man oh man was it a sweet first try. I went to my local shop today and they had one of the dealer P3's. It was setup with a fogger V4. It looked killer and hit even better. Buttery smooth hits. I can see why they have such a loyal following. Unfortunately the shop owner thought they would be retailing near $300 - that's a bit rich for my blood for now, but it makes me want to start scooping up all my loose change.

Excellent mod = Excellent performance...................... As long as it has an excellent topper set up properly.

I think ProVape strives to build the best of the best in regulated Mod Performance within class. I like that they do so without sacrificing durability.

That said, I had to laugh when I read the Provari praise from a New Vaper/owner which included a Pic.......with her ce5 on top.

I love my Provari 2.5. Went through countless lesser mods before making the leap. In the long run it's actually saved me money, I think. Insanely reliable.

I'll buy a P3 eventually, but not until it's been out for a few months. That way I can avoid any unforseen issues that crop up with the first run. I'm so glad to hear initial impressions are positive!

That seems way more than it's worth. I'd be tempted at $175 given it's comparatively low power output, but I don't see myself spending anywhere close to $300.

Earlier today I spent quite a bit of time with the P3.
I'm one of those Provari owners that didn't need or want anything more to change than a Provari with a higher amp limit.

The vape shop / dealer knows me well and what my device must be able to live through, they allowed me to 'test' it in ways I'm sure Provape wouldn't approve of.
After vaping & experimenting with it I think the P3 is everything I would expect from a device made by Provape.
If I lose or destroy either of my Provaris it will be replaced by the P3.

Considering the 2.5 is $160-200 brand new, it seems unlikely that the P3 will be less than $250. Starter kits (with tank, battery, charger) might be around $300.

Put a dollar a day in a bank and before the year's out your new P3 will be funded!

Agreed , thats out of range for most vapors , it would have to come with an unconditional lifetime warranty for $300 bills, just my opinion.

Many = most ?

It costs me about $110 to fill up my pickup, sometimes that's 3 times a week.
Then there's the farm & heavy equipment, the trucks & small equip, all that money burns up in a day or two. Kinda like buying cigarrets.
Buying something that you can use all day everyday for years for $180 to whatever seems inexpensive to me.

The P3 looks to be EXACTLY what I was praying for this time last year, back when I was a ProVari skeptic. One trip to a vape meet last January in Tampa changed all that.

I've settled on two ProVari 2.5's. One Mini and One Standard, both brushed Stainless.

While I have absolutely no issue paying $159.00 for a Mini or Standard 2.5, I wonder if the extra bells and whistles are worth nearly double the price for me.

Variable Wattage is less important to me now that I coil my own Kayfuns. I coil to a set resistance, so I rarely have to adjust the output voltage of my device. If my resistance creeps up, it's time to dryburn the coil.

The "quick" shot feature rapidly heats the coil is probably the most compelling feature for me, as it would work to really heat your coil rapidly and prevent that little primer drag I tend to take.

The OLED has a bunch of cool information, telling you the quality of your connection from battery to atomizer, and a battery life remaining display that attempts to calculate your battery percentage based on your usage and not just based on the current output voltage of the battery. Then there's the adjustable pin, the hermetically sealed display, the ability to use flat top batteries....etc..

All of these simply make my inner geek sing...But bottom line, vaping is about applying consistent power to a coil to vaporize e-juice contained in wicking material. All the other stuff is gravy.

Bottom line, a ProVari 2.5 is as accurate as a ProVari P3, and 100 bucks is a lot extra for me to spend to avoid taking a primer hit.

Now if ProVape wants to buy back my V2.5's....well now, that's a horse of a different color......or button of a different color in the case of the P3.....
