I haven't seen anywhere that they are stopping production of the v2. Last I heard you can get either.

Yes, the Vamo shuts itself off with a battery change, pain in the .... I feel eGo batteries are better built, so I don't know where people get the view it's a quality unit. The only thing positive I have to say about the build quality is the battery cap threads don't suck.

And to get back on topic I saw a post from someone at ProVape that said they would continue to produce the V2 as well as the V2.5.

I don't care about VW, but do dislike the aesthetics of the v2.5 design, and a even quick glance at these forums proves that I am far from alone about this. Does anyone have any idea how long the v2 style will be available? At some point I would like to get a 2nd Provari for backup...

Both battery tubes will be available, nothing's going away. Provape reps said so.

No real reason for them to phase out the original design. It would probably reduce sales.

But yeah, I'm glad they are keeping the original design.

The new design is available on the Provape site now and the original design is listed in the clearance section (although not discounted). Seems like a weird place to put them if they're going keep them around.

So i own a Silver V2 standard sized with red led and a mini black v2 with blue led. If one of these ever breaks and I ever have to send it to provape i plan on asking for the new design put on. its pretty sweet looking... and im crushed that i didnt wait a little longer now that theyre offering green leds for a limited time :/
