PROVARI---what is wrong with this mod????????

What type of coil do you build at what ohms, how many wraps, gauge of wire, and cotton or silica?

You'll LOVE it! I've tried several different builds...I prefer a micro coil using .28ga kanthal. 1.2 - 1.5 ohms (7 or 8 wraps around a 3/32" drill bit) I like cotton for the wick. I boil regular ól cotton balls. Some say you don't have to boil them, but I think I can tell a slight difference...maybe just piece of mind. It's really easy to build and set up...PBusardo put up a video recently comparing it to the Russian 91. He rebuilds it....just follow along. Good choice on IBTanked too! My carto use has suffered a bit because I'm finding the Kayfun every bit as reliable...so it goes to work with me. I do keep a carto tank ready with the extra batteries though!

What other pv/mod delivers the proven (measured) consistent power delivery that a ProVari offers? I've never heard of such a mythical creature.

Before you call my statements ignorant and false, maybe you should be prepared to provide facts that prove that your claims are not ignorant and false.

I have done side by side tests with an assorted variety of mods, the provari included, and did not see, feel, hear, or taste anything that proved to me that the provari is in anyway superior. From my many friends who have all the assorted variety of mods, no one had any mod failures or anything of that sort. A lot of these devices, provari or not, are built well.. the major defect in any product is attached to the hand that is using it.

So my personal experience and my own research and testing, to me, will trump any bias claims and any ignorance or falsehoods you want to try to pass my way.

Dude, then don't get a ProVari...it's ok. Enjoy what you have and be ok with it. I doubt you'll be able to convince anyone on here that there's no difference between a ProVari and another, cheaper mod.... those who agree are already convinced. Those who don't agree already had a bunch of cheaper mods. What's it matter?

I think you dont check the mod specific forums very much then, crooked buttons, loose circuit boards, having to epoxy things out of the box, crooked screens, stripping threads. failing buttons, bad seals, shorting pins etc...... the list for problems on the cheap mods goes on and on and I cant believe everyone is abusing their mods.

the problem with these arguments is always going to come down to the few people who have no problems with a certain mod thinking the quality is the same for all of them. when its not.

Hands free vaping?? Like what? everything I've seen requires at least one hand...

While a minority out here there are still a large number of people that mention hands free usage. The bite down on an automatic device and start using their hands for other things.

Dude.. I didn't get one.. I thought that was obvious. Like I stated, I have nothing against the mod. I don't try and convince anyone of buying any mod. I couldn't care less what mods anyone uses. A "question" was asked and I answered honestly. Are you upset that it is not in line with what Provari owners like to hear? If so, too bad. Another user on here stated he was afraid to say things on this forum because of the lashing from Provari owners. His statement is not a false one.

Good review.. It's also a good thing I am not a sheep and I get my information from as many sources as I can before I make my final decisions. I respect the guy, but I don't have to get a device based on his opinion. The best vaping experience is subjective. So if the best vape for you is based on a review, then that is your choice.

Case and point on all the provari douchebaggery that happens in these forums. Like I stated... I never thought it was a bad device. Just that some of the owners are douches, and you proved that point.

im not arguing either way, just a counter post, I have mods I think are actually just as good if not a little better, but they actually cost more then a provari, i own a PV and i will still recommend them to people looking for reliability and consistence.

if people dont like the provari there is nothing wrong with that, what gets old is slamming others because they do like it or think its not worth the money, it is to the people who buy them. very rarely do you see provari owners slamming someone because they bough a vamo or SID so why does everyone feel compelled to come into these posts and slam the provari and it's users.

While this place is a wealth of knowledge, it is still very stupid to take everything said here as the best thing for me. There are many great devices out there and no one device is the end all for everyone. I hope everyone makes their own decisions based on their own research, and whatever device they end up with is certainly the best device for them. I do not push my device onto anyone. I do not tell anyone that their choice is the wrong choice.

If a Provari is the perfect device for you, then good for you, and I am happy. Just don't be a jerk about it when other people do not feel that it is not as magical as you think it is...

I haven't visited any Vamo threads, or SVD threads or MVP threads just to scream "They're not worth the money, an EGO will do the same thing!!!" The name of the post had something to do with what is wrong with the mod. You never pointed out any faults with it.... So, whats your point?
