I saw nothing offensive either. Written communication is never the best.

It is, and I am Truly Grateful!!!
The only answer to that statement is: "Yes".
Most of us are old enough to remember returning home in the late '60's and early '70's. The change of attitude toward to those returning today is gratifying. Oddly there is no envy or anger at the differential welcoming, just gratitude for the welcome they now get from most citizens and gratitude for their giving what most would not give and for doing what most could not do.
Thank you Veterans, and especially you @AstroTurf for showing the true colors of a real veteran. I meant no offense to anyone so those of you who were offended and are/know a vet, please know I have nothing other than respect for their service, which again, I would not be able to do.
I slept a long time but my fever is finally at its normal, below 98. Not holding my breath not taking Advil. Maybe it WAS the cigarette that did it LOL but I'm vaping only today.
I would like it if we all could drop this, honestly.

The movie in my mind had a chopper flying in across the Napoli coast of Kaui'i, up the deep valley to show the dinosaurs grazing, or running, across the meadow. The depth and splendor of the music giving it significance and beauty.
I thought of the song, by the Boomtown Rats, called "I Don't Like Mondays", but the last Monday in May is always something else. I am grateful to have a day to listen to music.
