Been spending my days lately laying retaining wall bricks in our yard to control the big pile of rocks the previous owner had dumped around some trees. Was tired of hitting them with the mower. It's about a hundred foot wall I laid out, finished the first course today...Yay!

Tomorrow I have a fun day planned, I have some serious dental issues, including a broken molar that is absessed with severe bone loss in my jaw...that one is getting yanked in the early afternoon, should be a pretty fun time. I think the periodontis plans on doing a bone graft at the same time...wife asked me a couple minutes ago what I had planned for dinner tomorrow night  I'm going to cook her a tuna steak and a nice salad...don't think I'll be eating much for the next couple days....good times. What a drag it is...getting old...
Compared to the bone graft, laying bricks seems like a pleasure.

Good luck. Gotta be done. Keep thinking about the end result.

Every dog that I have had as an adult has been from the pound. I like having two, it seems they are more relaxed when we are gone, no chewing. It seems they don't get bored or rambunctious if a companion is around.

We got a pound puppy awhile back, a little terrier mix, and about 3 - 4yrs. old now. She's a pretty good little dog, only her barking drives me nuts. Barks at anything, and everything. She goes bananas if one or both of us leave the house. On the plus side, she is a loving little dog, loves to play, and absolutely loves people, kids, and adults alike. Other animals tho, she just wants to tear into em.

Good luck, if it any help, I had two bone grafts and both went well. I had very little pain and the recovery time was just a couple of days. Never regretted it.

Had to take the steel Nautilus tip off and top the tank with a Walnut and Spruce Molehill Mountain Art wide bore. Taste is SOoo much better. I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy the Procyon and P3 Nautilus !!!

Speaking of taste, in the diner this evening ...
* Go with it *
Chow Mein Cod Cakes with Green Beans and Matchstick Carrots ... So one little cod got separated from the rest of the school and left to roam the big ocean on its own. (Like getting close to the plot of an animated fish movie ya know). Anyway, the little cod was found by a fisherman who fished exclusively for a Chinese restaurant. (Just go with the story here). The fisherman saw it alone and thought it was a very special fish, deserving of a special meal. Hence these fish cakes, unique in flavor, paired with delicious chow mein. Do parts of this story not add up? Absolutely. Does it matter? Not at all, because this easy meal adds up to plenty of flavor. Bon Appetit :)

Today went pretty well, the infection in the jaw was pretty bad, that part where he was scraping out the infected bone was the worst of it. The bone graft was nothing at all. When the novacain wore off it was like a symphony of different types of pain sounding off but now things have settled down a bit. I am going to hold off on taking the pain meds unless absolutely necessary, I've been living with this aggravation for so long now it really isn't much of a bother to me, it will be nice to wake up one day and not have that throbbing in my jaw...

I did all my oral surgeries with, like Advil, grit, and prayer. LOL. Good luck, @ENAUD ! I hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, a "symphony of pain" sure describes oral surgery. Oooh, I'm not describing it more than that, I'm starting to remember how much my mouth hurt, holding it open and all the godawful noises and whatnot from my denture implants, LOL. I couldn't do sedation, I don't touch anything that alters my consciousness like that. Not that I don't enjoy it! I enjoy it too much. LOL.

Getting "final approval" on my implants was like getting a "Get out of hell free card." I found the first 24 hours the worst though, it's gonna get better fast.

Today I woke up and it's not so bad. Gonna take it easy and drive around to a couple bicycle shops to see what they have, hoping maybe to find one that takes trade ins and get a used one or two, my wife wants to ride around the neighborhood. I may go towards one that is suitable for trail riding, or maybe see how it goes around the neighborhood first.

We do have some nice public parks with bicycle trails around here. The best one is over by the nuke plant, always found that odd having a great big outdoor park near a nuke plant.

Random Procyon observation ... Current Procyon set up: P3 Aspire Nautilus tank with a 1.8ohm coil running @ 7.8W

When I think of a Boost Setting, I think it's something that might come in handy when running sub ohm set ups to help ramp up. However, I found that Boost 2 is an ideal setting for at least this particular 1.8ohm Aspire coil in this particular tank and on this particular Procyon at this particular wattage.

I hadn't used the Procyon for some time and it had been stored. Not sure what topper I had on it last. Anyway, got to fiddling around last night and found that I've been vaping @ boost 2 since breaking it back out and putting the Nautilus on it.

SOooo ... I figured, "I don't need boost." ... and turned boost off. Vaped for several hours and found that, well dang, setting on boost 2 is a smoother vape (also tried boost 1). Less pop, just a smooth quiet cellophane like crinkle. I like that.

After having very good (but very inconsistent) results with Coil Control, I started playing with boost. I totally agree that it makes a significant difference in vape quality, at least for me. Every ProVape mod I have that's capable of running it is set to Boost 3.

Hind sight is always 20/20, I wish I had grabbed one of those Procyon's when ProVape was still around. I really couldn't justify it at the time as I had too many ProVari mods already. Looking back, one more wouldn't have broken the bank...
