... and what's the use of having a Ti Procyon unless you have a Ti (Kabuki) topper ya know. At what, $150 for the Ti tank ... if you could find one.

EDIT: It's all about balance in the hand to me. I'm okay with the regular (heavy) Procyon and a steel topper as long as it feels balanced. So pretty sure if I had a Ti Procyon, I'd be happiest with (would HAVE to have) a Ti Kabuki for balance LOL

Now if someone could just post a pic of their Ti Procyon and Ti Kabuki I could drool over HA !!! Nice

I have a Ti Kabuki, I find it is most beneficial with a mini Ti or the P3 Ti in 350 mode. Getting into the longer sizes the weight increase of the battery makes it a moot point to me.

I’ve been liking coil control myself, from time to time, of an evening.

Not running any boost.

I was amazed at how good CC is, but for some reason it didn't always work as well after random coil changes. All were genuine Nautilus BVCs, all the same resistance. I thought it might have been simply a coil that was slightly out of specs until I took the mod out of CC and everything would go back to normal. It makes no sense, and I have no idea why roughly 25% of the coils responded this way. It just seemed easier to go with boost, which has never seemed to vary with coil changes.

Heck E ... I notice a balance difference when I change the "performance" end cap on the Procyon to a standard P3 end cap. Looks MUCH shorter too ;) But yeah.

Random Procyon observation ... Current Procyon set up: P3 Aspire Nautilus tank with a 1.8ohm coil running @ 7.8W

When I think of a Boost Setting, I think it's something that might come in handy when running sub ohm set ups to help ramp up. However, I found that Boost 2 is an ideal setting for at least this particular 1.8ohm Aspire coil in this particular tank and on this particular Procyon at this particular wattage.

I hadn't used the Procyon for some time and it had been stored. Not sure what topper I had on it last. Anyway, got to fiddling around last night and found that I've been vaping @ boost 2 since breaking it back out and putting the Nautilus on it.

SOooo ... I figured, "I don't need boost." ... and turned boost off. Vaped for several hours and found that, well dang, setting on boost 2 is a smoother vape (also tried boost 1). Less pop, just a smooth quiet cellophane like crinkle. I like that.
My P3 is set to boost off.
Never could tell any difference using boost.

Love me some red or black beans and rice, or Cuban style black bean soup, beet greens, Anduile sausage gumbo...yeah, I like me some poe folk foods...
But that's a funny thing, which I agree with you about. Poe folk foods are not only delicious, but they're also classic in most cuisines (Italian, French, Chinese...) Lots of things we've forgotten in our country (don't get me started on personal freedom, Bill of Rights...)

In the diner tonight ...
* Ditch the rich. Cancel the creamy. Please and Thank You *
Grilled Chicken with Mustard Vinaigrette, Asparagus and Zucchini ... Often times, a sauce is something creamy and rich or boiled and reduced until it's not much more than a sticky glaze. For this meal, we've got simple, easy, and light. The mustard vinaigrette is springy and alive, a perfect accompaniment to grilled chicken. Bon Appetit :)

Don't have a Procyon. How about a P3 Ti with a Ti Kabuki?
Best I can do. It's as light as my Juul. No, just kidding, but if I pull out the battery it might be.

Nice one NY !!! Indeed. Looks like you prefer tank air wide open. Me too. What are you running ... .7, 1.6 or 1.8 and what's the watts or volts? Thanks :)

EDIT: Oh, and one more thing ... considering different thermal properties of Ti and steel, do find the Kabuki performs the same in either iteration? Pretty sure it would but just asking.

It started maybe a week or two ago...the adds...perfume, chocolates, hallmark, usually she pops to mind when I experience some moment of fleeting beauty, or the touch of some deeply human emotion, especially when I have one of those empathetic thoughts towards a fellow random person. I always held her opinion and judgment regarding my actions and current state of being in high regard, respect. We shared a strong bond, having like minds and hearts towards creatures great and small, and how we should treat our fellow man, what we considered moral and good, and also immoral and unjust. Many a time I have fallen short of the examples she lived by, her character was strong, and her self giving to those in need was almost without bound. I find that I am still in need of learning from the lessons she taught, by living her life the best way she knew...

I have a bronze coated 2.5 with a cap that uses an 18650 that I like and wish that I have not spent money on Radii and got more bronze 2.5 models.

Hmmm. ;)

All the procyons are 50 watt, I think. I don't know what the lowest wattage they support is, but I have had no difficulties (I rarely go below .8 though). I want to say they support 0.5 or lower, but I actually can't say what it is, not without looking it up. I'm sure someone will know, though.

Anna

I think they may have done some 60W Procyons, that's if I am recalling right.

That's kind of neat, I should check mine, LOL.

I have a titanium and a SS Kabuki, and the vape is fairly similar. Perhaps not identical, and I have different drip tips on there. Guess I could put the same drip tip on the other one and blind taste test or something...... Maybe after I wake UP, LOL.

I had never noticed any difference between the performance of my Ti Kabuki vs SS Kabukis, so your question was one I've never considered. Doing some basic research, I find that titanium is more conductive than stainless. That I can't tell a difference may be from a couple of things: A) I have the palate and taste buds of a possum; or B) The difference in conductivity isn't enough to matter as far as vaping is concerned.

Actual numbers, higher is better for conductivity: Titanium 2.38×10 to the 6th, Stainless 1.45×10 to the 6th, Silver 6.30×10 to the 7th

And now I'm off to figure out the ASCII codes for squared numbers so I never have to type that mess again.
