The TOX

When I was testing the ZMax V2 I wanted to compare it to the out put of some other devices. Since the TOX was sitting near by it got tortured along with the ProVari and ZMax V1

The Poor little TOX really struggles to give you what you've asked for. In fact, there was only one test I did wherein the TOX was the superior product:

The key didn't translate when I uploaded my excel file. I've got them all in image format from excel though. Here you go!

They are cheaply made and it shows. My head is plastic, not metal, so its not very sturdy. The whole unit flexes when you push the button. When the larger tubes are attached that causes it to push the head up and away from the battery. Every time it does that you have to reset everything. I have stopped using it completely.

I saw a youtube video on the device with the title "Frustrator". It certainly can be - the activation button is very wonky. When it does work, it's not bad though.

The changeable tubes is a brilliant, but the quality doesn't keep up with the idea unfortunately.

I thought about frankenvape surgery on my TOX combined with a REO grand..

But then the Zmax was born, and now the 20watt chip is incoming..

Sooo.. I gave it away.

Anyone know if this one made mainline (and is perhaps waiting for inventory to arrive)?

Turns out I'm not the only one. I realize that I wont be able to spend as much with a baby girl due in March... but it would be nice to see some action in here for those that are waiting money in hand. Plus I'll need to have some reviews to read during late night feedings

To that end, I'll throw my need a drop mojo in here.

NON alpha questions ...
I thought since we were experiencing down time here I would ask you guys about an issue I am having & then I just saw another related type issue that I wanted to get your opinions on too...

Ok so my Taj ...the original coil would not meter worth a crap, it would jump around # wise & then sometimes it would just show 0000 so I changed the wick/coil to the 2.8omh one that came with the tank ...& it meters OK & solidly @ 2.74omh .....but It POP's & spits & gurgles & won't produce any vapor ??? It is over wicking if anything & the air flow seems fine ?? And I don't see any hot spots ...
I just can't figure out why it would act like this .....the POP'ing is freaking me out ! I can FEEL it as well as hear it .
I have been testing it w/an older ego ... cuz I don't trust it & cuz I had a BOLT switch burn up on me a few weeks ago & am NOW gun shy.

I just saw on FB where a GUY had a Hyper SRT explode on him today ...& the description of " explode" that was posted was way to close to what might be happening w/my Taj

hes said that he heard a loud pop while vaping on his zmax while he was taking a toot & the juice inside the tank and where the coil is caught on fire and that quick boom it exploded. he vapes at about 8.5 watts idk if there were other contributing factors? split it and sent hot juice all over.

so any ideas what might be going on here ????????

wow Kellys I'm sorry for your troubles you having there. I can't wait for some one smart to answer this cuz I haven't a clue. I don't have a Taj so I don't know about that part at all

My new SRT II is working so SWEET STILL ! Same wick and everything. No trouble at all, I don't have a reason for his experience either What juice inside the tank where the coil is are you talking about ? There is no juice up in the top chamber besides what's in the actual soaked wick itself on mine Is that what ya meaning ?
