Okay...................since we have a lot of new alpha members here......just a yiddle reminder. When posting a review of a product......please name the product first and proceed with your review. As an example..........

Vision juice

Blah blah blah blah blah blah

All of your opinions and reviews are important, but because we also have a lot of fun and sillyness in these threads, we need to be able to quickly identify what is being talked about. It makes it much less time consuming for Danno and Badkolo, who will be making product decisions based on these reviews, as well as anybody else who is trying to follow along. :)

Ok...these are working great for those who have been giving them a whirl but contrary to what the manufacturer conveyed (or we misunderstood!), the tanks are not removable so that when you go to change the wick it requires a bit of patience (not too bad). WE are going to get these updated but in the meantime why not give the ALPHA crew a chance to give this a whirl!

Enjoy! And tell us how you think this wicks, flavors up, etc...

By the way we still have a bunch of the Chatty Chen's left....remember if you are in ALPHA you can ask for one for free. For those who are getting these are they actually charging your eGos?

Chatty Chen
Yes, the charging circuit seems to work fine. The only malfunctions I've seen seem to be related to the voice circuit.

Danno,

My Chatty Chen charges fine (Twists & ego clones), but the voice "feature" wigs out on the Twists... most likely due to the way Twists charge.

X6 tank

I got this tank with my KTS kit before it went into alpha. My overall thought on the tank is good. It has nice flavor and creates a nice vape. The draw on it is king of airy. on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the tightest I would give it a 7, and it whistles a bit too. I've used this on my slb ego-v at 4.4v and kts at 3.7 v with Irish cream 50/50 juice (yummy), at the higher voltage I get a bit of a plasticky taste to it.

Last night I tried to clean the tank, and I'm sure. That was a funny sight to see. I unscrewed the coil and pulled out the wicks.. Now keep in mind the tank does not disassemble. I filled the tank with water a few time to rinse out the inside and use a compressed air keyboard cleaner thing to dry it. Then I had to put the new wick in... That was a pain in the bums, I ended up using a safety pin to push the wicks through the holes and get into the correct place. It's a bit of a process but not as bad as I originally thought. Overall I'm please with the tank, and I will probably pick up a few more while they are in alpha, but I don't think it will be a go to tank.

I was just excited to see some hardware hit Alpha!

Ordered a X6, a few extra heads, picked up the 10ml tank, and some odds-and-ends. Asked for the talking thing....uhhh....for the wife.

Of course, it was out the door shortly after I placed my order.

I look forward to trying something new out, been stuck in a rut lately!

Tesla Review: (Jumping the gun as it is listed as a future possible ALPHA)

Pictures - IMGUR Album

Ok I know I posted pics up earlier as kind of a teaser. I have used the device on and off for about a week and a half. This thing is pretty awesome. The OLED is nice very easy to read and use. Changing Voltages / Wattage is also very easy as well. Hits pretty close to my provari when I set the same voltages as well. The center pin is on a spring so breaking this mod is going to be pretty tough at least at the connector.

So going over the menu it is pretty simple. Hold + for 8 Seconds... (8 seconds should be shorter...) Have 3 options. Use + to change beween and then - to select. You can change Voltage or Wattage output, LCD Display when Firing and then the last option LCD on or off when firing. Out of the menu Holding + will show OHM of the Attached device while holding - will show Voltage Remaining. Pretty easy stuff.

Build quality is a mixed bag for me. The device is no doubt solid, the 3x vents that go down the side are kinda overkill and I think if you were to run it over without a battery in it then it could crush or break as now there are 3 legs instead of a solid tube. They do flex with a lot of pressure but barely and it takes a lot to do it. The cap is also vented at the bottom. No real "quality" issues just more precautions. This thing is MASSIVE compared to all the tube mods I have so SIZE is something to consider with this mod.

As far as Cons, So far I really don't have any. I love the feel of it even though it is pretty big, It doesn't really leave the house so no real travel issues. All in all this thing is pretty awesome and I recommend it for GV / Alpha Testing

Oh Yeah Edit:  How it vapes.... With cartomizers I used on my ProVari and then the Tesla it was pretty close, Maybe just a bit weaker but hardly noticeable. Ran Vivi novas with no problem and got similar vapor production to my ProVari as well. The floating spring pin is pretty awesome as you can fully torque and no worrys of breaking the device.

did you experience this issue with your tesla?

No battery issues that I have seen, I have used both Panasonics (flat top) and AW Red with Button Top. So far so good for me. I saw some people were having some sort of short with their cartos as well. I have not experienced either as of yet. However, It is NOT my main mod. I will use it more to try to replicate but so far no issues.
