I have been using my ce5 now for a full week and it has been great. No leaking or perfect wicking each draw. I didnt mess with cleaning. But getting a weeks use is cost effective enough to just replace it.

I have also been using the vivinova and am frustrated with it. Screw in the head, fill'er up, screw on top and vape. The problem occurs each time I have to refill. When I screw off the top cap it also loosens the headcoil. I cant reach in far enough with my fingers to retighten it. So, each time I have to take all 3 pieces apart to add juice and reassemble nice and tight. It would be great if they could design a snap in head so it would'nt loosen each time the cap has to be removed to fill. Other than that I love the v2.5 with the longer wicks. I had problems with wicking using the short wicks.

i thought it just didnt work...it lights up every color but wont vape...thanks for the advice...im sure its under 1 amp ill go grab a 2 amp one later glad to know it will work...thanks

My PT works at all four stages but I only get blue and green lights. I get Blue, Blue, No light & Green. Vapes at all four stages and feels like the voltage is increasing as it should but I hate guessing where I am at with it. Bought a 2.1 amp wall wart yesterday. Did not make a bit of difference. Guess I got a flakey one.
One other note. That button is way too sensitive. Fires just when unintentionally touching it.

I was just gonna say sorta the same thing. The post made me wonder if mine was loose, I didn't notice if it was. So I tried my needle nose pliers from a crafting tool kit, but of course the metal thing under the cap went wonky, so did the same thing. Just took it off, made sure it was tight, put it back on.....good to go.

That is frustrating, but an easy fix as harmonic and Debadoo indicated. Any time I refill, I watch the wicks as I unscrew the top - if they turn, it's time to tighten it back down. Normally, I can just press my finger down on top of the cap or on the head and turn the tank... that's usually enough to last till the next cleaning.

I know this has been brought up before... BUT....IMHO...

we really NEED to get used to either Title'ing* our posts with product NAME

or listing product name 1ST before starting our posts .
IE.... CE5...blah blah blah

As we get more & more test products... this is going to get really confusing .

And I DO believe that Danno & BAD would also appreciate IT ...
when they are scanning thru the posts trying to put our suggestions/opinions together
for their reports to the manufacturer's .

...and IT would make the ALPHA Program (us) look a little more "serious & organized"
...rather than just a ".....in' blab fest "

i agreee and thank you, it does help when its a little organized so i can breeze through and copy and paste what is needed, we already have them working the new ce5, so keep it coming. ill rpeort back what changes are going to be made once i get the word form each factory, scorpion has been improved already but im not going that route so they will not be added and im not fond of the factory so thats that, but other products are being worked on or looked at for improvements.

First stage stays blue, second stage stays blue, third stage no light, 4th stage green. Like I said it seems to work as it's suppossed to except for the light.

well thats better than not firing, while its not ideal, better than other situations like not firing unless you push down really hard, I have that with a lava tube and had it with the bartleby(or whatever that thing was called) a long time back.

I don't think you will since I think they are dead. They are a nice looking bottom feed cartomizer that either leaks or dry hits.

Thanks. I am feeling much better every day. Its actually amazing how for the first week I needed a walker to walk anywhere, and now I am walking a 1/4 mile twice a day with just my brace on.

I use a fingernail. Don't even need a very long one - I'm not exactly a fashion diva.

How about if from now on when we have actual Alpha info to report ( as oppose to "kissyface" and the like ) We title the post like you did on the above quoted post. That way Bad and Danno can scan thru and easily find the relevant posts, versus the fun and games posts. In the title we will include the product we are referring to.

Sounds good to me ....Title = relevant posts No Title = NOT relevant ....to Alpha anyway

I just noticed that when you "quote" a post the title does not get included
But if the quot-er titles his post ... then we will still be able to figure out what they are referring to.
