Number 3 for me.

I think this may depend on when you started vaping.
Very much so.
I almost have to laugh when I see new members saying they want something that is the size/shape of a cigarette.Or how obstinate and bull-headed you were about it being the size/shape of a cigarette.

I say almost because it actually isn't funny when you get right down to it.
But I can't blame them, as they often know not what they are really trying to do.
And then of course, for some small percentage of them, it really does matter that much in the end.
But I'd say that's about 2.47% of them.

It helped me a lot, at first and when I had to do it over again, in July, but the thing is, with an eRoll, you can't hold it the same as you held a cigarette anyway, because the spot in the V of your fingers is where the atty is, and it gets pretty warm right there -- with my stainless eRoll, downright hot. So that kinda takes away the familiarity-factor. I didn't try the regular cigalikes enough to know if that was a problem; I thought the Njoy was the most similar, because of the soft mouthpiece, but the taste was like eucalyptus, and I really didn't care for it.
I thought the eRoll worked well, it got me all the way down to quitting... but as I learned more here at the forum, I saw more and more of its drawbacks -- non-regulated, so each hit after the first one gets less and less satisfying. That's why I went straight to a vv3 after the eRoll, and saw the benefit of regulation RIGHT away.
But for those new to vaping, it's hard to realize that this requires a battery which needs to be a decent size, to get decent performance; it's very much like how new folks always want to know mg and vaping-time correlations between vaping and smoking, which is pretty much impossible, just like getting decent performance from a cigalike sized battery. I think each of us has to find our own personal correlation in terms of satisfaction, which is why the beginning is so hard -- some of us get stuck with ejuice so strong (18mg) that it makes us sick enough to not even want to think of vaping, or so weak that the only thing they can think of is a cigarette.
