Never have I been forced to think about vape words so "hard.." I'm not sure I enjoy it honestly.
Ripe makes no sense. I'm sorry. Also, for some reason it makes me think about ripening French cheeses, like Camembert, which smells like feet, that process of allowing them to a) age and b) becomes soft and gooey as you leave them out to eat (at our house) as a pre-meal Thanksgiving feast.
While it is in fact delicious, it also makes me think about watching French cheese sort of slither into mush on the plate, and nothing is really all that much fouler than applying all THAT to e-lliquids.
Steeping is fine. There's nothing wrong with it. It's inoffensive, just as one steeps tea to the desired maturity or whatever. I like a nice, well-steeped tea and I could imagine drinking some while vaping, without wanting to hurl.
Age is utilitarian. It also, if you are ageist (IDK the older I get the more I am, like I think old age SUUUCKS sometimes. Other times, it's technically correct, you are aging your eliquid or at least letting it get old, via the concept known as time.
I prefer the term mature, because then I can call some of my shake and vapes 'adolescent" should I choose to.
But really in the grand scheme of things CALL IT WHATEVER YOU MUST. You want to ripen it, YAY, just please don't compare it to cheese. Or the overripe mushy crab-apples your mom made you rake up as a kid. Etc.
You want to call it old? Okay, just don't bring that up in the same sentence as how the elderly have to use nose and ear hair trimmers, because.... sadly that happens for some folks.
IDK. Use good taste and make it understandable is what I'm saying. Perhaps the opposite to THIS post, but I was TRYING to set a bad example about how ANY term can "work" or "not work" depending on taste and associations and inferences.
Just be matter of fact about like, what you use. You don't even have to be consistent. .Just... You know.
