so I tweaked my pina colada and I'm still loving this
TFA Pineapple 3.4%
PUR Golden Pineapple 3.4%
TFA Coconut 2.25%
TFA Coconut Candy 2.25%
TFA Black Cherry .25% (could probably use maraschino cherry, but I find it overpowering)
TFA Key Lime .25%
TFA Meringue 1%
TFA Sweet Cream 1%
FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 1%
TFA Brandy 1%
DIYFS Rum 1%
ws-23 .3%
total flavoring 17.10% it could probably be lowered but as is it's a good shake and vape

I'm actually a bit shocked.... just looked at my list and I have 12 juices that I'm quite happy with
and well lol 6 that I'm still working on and we won't even talk about the rest they are nowhere near enjoyable yet
but 12 in my arsenal that I can say they are finished products

oh wow, so I just mixed this up, figured I'll not know until I try it... I need a new wick but wow that touch of sour really made the strawberry pop

I think I'm having problems tasting strawberry now
the first few puffs were great sweet and tart strawberry but now I can't taste it, I noticed this on my strawberry cream pastry but thought the pastry just drowned out the strawberry but now I'm thinking it's me....
cleaned my coil put in a new wick and just getting a slight sweet and tart taste with after taste of cream

There are flavors on that list (tobaccos, etc.) that I would personally never use but the list is pretty good for basics.

I seem to have a chronic, mild case of vaper's tongue the last few months, I miss my palate and I don't understand what's causing it, I've tried rotating juices and that doesn't seem to help

I am agreeing with this simply because I am in the same boat, not that I don't feel you're successful, you seem quite knowledgeable to me

Well, that would basically suck. Vape some other flavors for a few days and try again.

You could try vaping some methol for a while or even peppermint. Not sure if that would help but it might.

If you can make juice you can vape, you’re successful. Whether you ever create a unique recipe is not the point.

I'm one step ahead of you, last night I made a Kris Kringle for me (with less peppermint, 10% is very high for me) and am vaping it now. I normally only make this for my husband who has been vaping less than a year. I used to like it on the older gear (and before my tastebuds had recovered) but the recipe is too strong for me now. I added 7% peppermint, which is still really minty but now it's vapeable and I don't feel like I'm in Antarctica every time I take a vape

By the way, is that Peppermint TFA? If it is...I don't see how you can do 7% and vape it. It would give me a massive headache. I've used just 3-4 drops in a 30mL mix and that's strong enough for me and a guy I make it for regularly who used to smoke menthols for 40+ years.

Wow, I never even thought of my meds affecting my taste, I think you've got something there! Yep, it's TFA Peppermint at 7% I have it in a Penguin, there's no way I'd sub-ohm 7% TFA Peppermint, but husband likes it and it's the one and only juice he vapes so I'm happy

Few months after starting diy I didn’t have vaper's tongue but after a half tank I wasn't tasting much at any wattage. Someone suggested lowering my flavor percentages overall and it helped tremendously. This last mixing round I've had to lower a few more that are stronger like FW blood orange. One of the reasons why I don’t buy many ultras, it's hard to lower 0.1%.
