Of course one is always hopeful the recipes turn out. Why else would we do this? But I'm also realistic. I don't expect any smashing success out of the starting blocks. In other words, I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.
I didn't have any great luck starting out but some others have.

    Somewhere between here and there
My first successful recipe took quite a while. However, back then I didn’t have Fran and the other wonderful people on this thread to help me. I don’t make many original recipes but tend to take ones I find and try them as is then decide if I want to tweak them. I just mixed raspberry lemon custard but decided to use the lemon trinity instead of lemon Sicily since it needs a two week steep. I was concerned about the lemon fading. I also subbed vt shisha raspberry for the inw since I didn’t have it.

I worked with color concentrates for plastic back in the 80's. The process of making these concentrates were pretty much the same as making e-liquid. Dealing with a base, some UV stabilizers, and pigments. Anyhow, if we made a batch of concentrate and it turned out the color was off-standard we could reprocess it by adding pigments to bring it back to standard. In other words, we just reworked the initial batch. I'm thinking the same could be done with e-liquid. But there is a steeping issue involved with liquid.
Let's say you are planning on a month steep. There's no law against trying your mix a bit early and maybe making a tweak or two.

In my experience, a two week steep has been a good general time period for most liquids. They continue to improve but it takes me 90% of the way.

Yup, don't expect nirvana on the first attempt - and hope you're pleasantly surprised :)

If wanting to tweak them, maybe split the errant brew into smaller portions, and tweak each separately. Or you might wind up with a liter of tweaks that still don't quite make it! :w00t:

ARGH. I forgot my AFTERNOON meds, too. This puts me a bit severely behind. Oh well, it's not like I should go to the board of behavioral health website with a brain like this, I'd like get things wrong.

Also, they are the licensing agency I HATE THE MOST IN THE VERY WIDE WORLD. I am not kidding, if I could dematerialize ONE thing it would be that agency.

Glad I am not mixing today, I think I would poison myself by accident. I'm not built to WORK this hard anymore :( I did ask my freaking supervisor to point me to the behavioral health person who can teach me how to shorten my notes I think that was smart.

I forget to take my meds so often that I put a pharmacy app on my phone that sends out Alerts when it’s time to take my meds. I still forget though. It’s funny because I have no problem remembering to take my pain meds just everything else.

h@Bronze I will help you. Unlike your statements to me, at certain points in time. I started with single flavors though and I had a fantastic time. I have written most of my OWN recipes.

But then, I am a chef, not... a sou-chef. I mean I get great ideas from some recipes but I will do like I did when my mom got sick and I was 12 and my dad was like, "Here you go, oldest daughter, here are some recipe books and raw ingredients."

I mean I was happy my mom was out of the house, don't get me wrong, but it was a lot of WORK. I also still had to do my homework.

That last comment somewhat motivated by the mystery like, AMNESIA AND SKY HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ON THE PLANE, followed by tons of tests, then mystery. I texted her she was like "It's a bad time to talk" but like she calls my LITTLE sister 3 times a week. Dude, it's humiliating to have to get updates from my SIS. My mom thinks it's Lyme disease? YEAH no overlapping symptoms at all there, huh.

I swear to god, I'm fairly convinced it's drugs. I mean...

Oh well. She could only remember 3 kids after the "event" I have good money on the line that I am the one she FORGOT,

Also, it is right to not do most of your yearly CEUs in a day but somehow I can't HELP it.

Could not train dragon because I needed to (censored) PAIR the microphone with Dragon and like DRAGON is the only thing that listens to me 100% of the time. OH it gets things wrong occasionally but at least it doesn't text me "I will call another time" and then DOESN'T. Jeez.

Also I don't know what IT thinks I will DO to my computer if I could possibly you know, add an externa mouse without privileges. No wonder they have NO time to do anything.

    I still hate them

    Anna

Also I am sick of missing my family so today I am concentrating on missing Biggie Smalls. It's going good so far.

Also, if next week doesn't improve, I'mma gonna die. Just saying

I just tried my second recipe site. The first one kept screwing me over. Had enough of that crap and went to eliquidrecipes and it works perfectly fine. Got all my initial recipes loaded.
