Solo Perique is new ground for me so I suppose I will look.
Perique can be pretty raw. I think that would go well with fruits too. Vanilla goes well with almost all NETs. I would recommend to Hitt to add a touch of vanilla to his Viso.

State of Anxiety
Good morning, random folks:) Have you any plans today? Have you finished stocking up your vape supplies? Finished your Christmas shopping? Any Holiday plans?

Got up early, shoveled the driveway, and then made it down the hill to get my snow tires put on. Even with the snow tires, I think I'm staying in today.

Christmas shopping is pretty much done! I need to do some baking before Christmas, perhaps I'll start that today. I make cookies for my parents every year. I freeze most of them raw on a cookie sheet, then bag them. My Mom can pop a few in the oven whenever. To bake: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal, Hermits, Molasses.

Christmas plans here include the Family Christmas party on the 21st. Due to spats in the family only half will be at the party. This year the party is at my oldest daughters so I'm hoping for decent weather. It's not that far but bad weather makes for a long trip. Then Christmas day here. I'll be happy to get most gifts out of my room.

ELR has nothing for me. Going to take a look at my past baccy mixes.

    @Bronze Try that chocolate yet?
If there are any tobacco varieties that take a long time to steep, Perique would be it.

Have not broke out that other chocolate yet. Been making coils.

LMAO! I have Xmas dinner here every year with the neighbors. I have to get an update each year as to who is fighting with who so I can strategize my invitation. :)

    Somewhere between here and there
We do Xmas morning at our house and then usually go over to my inlaws house for another round. Last year we had them come to our house later in the day. I liked that better. Besides, there's more room for everyone at our house.

And the more space you put between relatives, the better. :)

In the early days of DIY I had a big problem with steeping but no longer. How long would you suggest I steep a Perique Mix? I'm not going to bother with an sft.

I split firewood. I need more firewood like I need a hole in my head. But it's good exercise and in a twisted way I enjoy it. :)

It's doubly good, because you get exercise AND you get a task accomplished. Nothing like looking at the clean driveway or that stack of firewood once it's all done. Beats the gym any day.

I'm getting more flavor out of this Glamour Chocolate today but it's still kind of weak. I mixed it at 5%. It's got that pinkish/amber color. Maybe I'll mix it again to make sure I didn't screw something up but this is clearly the faintest chocolate I have sampled so far. What flavor I get seems similar to TFA's Chocolate and/or Milk Chocolate. More toward milk chocolate than dark chocolate. The inhale seems a bit "candied" but it has a nice chocolatey exhale.

I'm going to mix it again and wait a couple weeks and give it another go. What little flavor I get is pretty good but I would expect this to be stronger than this because at this level it just wont cut it. Maybe I'll do one at 5% and one at 10%.

It might be a sign of sickness too. I'm well on my way to having walls of stacked firewood. I'm in good shape for an apocalypse if nothing else.

I had a perique that took me three months before I liked it. At first, it blew my head off because it was soooo raw. It took that long to settle out. Once it did I liked it (had some vanilla in it and the combo worked well with me). But NETs can really vary. Yours might be fine well before three months. My advice is give it a shot in two weeks but be fully prepared to give it more time, and possibly a lot more time. Just don't give up on it too soon.
