I really don't care what I mix with the Amber. Can be Cranberry or whatever. All I want to do it see what effect I get from the Amber to see if I want to use it at all.

From HIC's notes:

Liquid Amber: "The Fermentor". It's the difference between a fresh apple and sweet apple cider.

Very useful for baked fruit and cider flavors. Think of it as a way to slightly ferment the other flavors. One FA vendor describes the standalone flavor well: "Warm and smooth flavor with a hint of fresh fruit and a delicate sourness in the aftertaste."

At 3% standalone, it gives a hint of (apple? pear? something fruity), a bit of sweetness you taste in the far back of your throat, and undertones of sour, like the background warmth and sourness of slightly-hard cider.

Add 0.5-1% Liquid Amber to apple flavors for basic apple cider. If you use mostly Liquid Amber with accents of Pear, Apple, Cherry, Apricot, the stone fruit flavors will come
through well. It’s similar to adding FA Brandy to fruit, but a much smoother effect.

If you don't have FA Brandy, or if Brandy is too strong for you, Liquid Amber can make a fine substitute in recipes.

Liquid Amber can also boost mild anise and licorice notes in tobacco blends.

I got a new big tackle box. I'm not sure if all my flavors will fit into one but between the new and old I should have my counter cleared of flavorings.

4 bottles too many. That doesn't include what's coming.
I think there may be enough spares to put everything in it if the spares go on the bottom or the smaller box.
Will need to use the heat gun to adjust some of the trays.

I had Pumpkin Spice in my cart but dumped it

    Now I wish I hadn't :(

Fran, I had Liquid amber from deej way back...didn't like it at all
Couldn't even tell you what it tasted like
I got Flavora. It is a spot on Pumpkin Spice. Nicely balanced not too much of anything. The PST, Butterscotch ripple and Pumpkin Spice is good. Doesn't really taste like any of the individual components though... My wife wants me to make Pumpkin spice latte now lol

The order I placed at BCF YESTERDAY was on my doorstep today. Imagine my surprise!!! It was shipped FedEx Ground as I ordered 120ml of LA Lemonade which is restricted shipping. Apparently FedEx Ground from NC to VA is overnight. :D

WOW! That’s incredible! I’m guessing mine will show up on Monday in the Boston area.

You people on this thread are really a bad influence. I didn't need any more flavorings nor bottles, and have been perfectly happy vaping my regular ADVs. But yet I still couldn't pass up the additional 50% off on the sale stuff on EcigExpress. Never bought anything from them before, so figured a smaller, less expensive, order might be a good first one, to sort of check them out.

So I ended up ordering 30mL each of JF Coconut, JF Mango, JF Apple, FW Hawaiian Limeade, and WS-23; 20mL of FW Rum; and 2 dozen 20mL LDPE bottles. Was only $19.53 including S/H. Figured what the heck...will give me a way to try a few JF for the first time and the WS-23 everyone raves about.

I did a Strawberry Banana with a touch of Dragonfruit for the wife. I don't care much for fruits but that one came out good! The Fla. Banana tastes like banana candy. I love artificial banana flavor.
    FLA Banana 2%
    TFA Strawberry Ripe 2%
    TFA Dragonfruit 1%

I have a 4oz bottle of Dragonfruit from FW.
Tastes really really good but stinks up the place.
I saw yesterday that it has sugar syrup !
Hoping the TFA Dragonfruit I ordered yesterday is non-stinky

I havent noticed it smelling bad. I really like the flavor too. I got it for a Dragon Blood recipe so it was the main flavor in that one. Letitia suggested to use a tiny bit to make the other fruits pop and it works really well for that.

Someone had sent me some DIY Dragonfruit and that is how I got to like it - I sure didn't notice it stinking up the room, but the FW really did. (not pleased at all to find out about the sugar syrup)

DIY Flavor Shack? I was just there today. I don't know about sugar syrup. I think TFA is ok. Doesn't gunk up coils or anything.

No, not DIY Flavor Shack, a mixed up ready to vape ( DIY) Dragonfruit
(well, I don't know what brand flavoring they used)
It's the Flavor West Dragonfruit flavoring that has sugar syrup

FW is one company you really have to watch for "bad" ingredients. Fructose shouldn't be vaped - it is absorbed by the lungs and that can't be good. I try to avoid the diacetyl and other diketones but don't worry about them quite so much since the percent to total is so small. The fructose that FW uses is kind of sneaky. We had a long discussion about this on another thread a month or so ago and I know that many people disagree so I am not going to get all preachy on this great thread. The more you know.....
