4 years next month for me. I wasn’t physically addicted but it was getting close and mentally I think I was already there. My life is so much better! I never drank the flavored stuff though.

I made my own version of the creamy pillow mint tonight. I think I’ll decrease the butter mint next time as it seems to overtake everything. Of course it’s not steeped at all.

Well, the acai is a berry flavor make no mistake. But it has that slight licorice-like aftertaste that might pair up with the Dark Fire.

Really hoping I don’t get the licorice aftertaste. I’ll wait for my Honduran mix to steep before I mix another.

I was never addicted to alcohol and just tired of drinking. I’ve had a 1/2 gallon of absolute for 2 years with not much missing.

This is why I’m thinking acai might do better in Dark Fire. Whatever licorice there is in the acai will get lost in the Dark Fire. Could also be a combo of the acai and Honduran that is producing that flavor note.

Also keep in mind I’m calling it licorice. Others may call it something else.

Yeah, the Dark Fire is definitely stronger. I might just go ahead a mix it.

And the beautiful thing about all these experiments is the drain is never far away.

This is true.I don’t see that happening unless I get a definite taste of licorice

After I do the one mix tomorrow I’m going to be done mixing for awhile.I don’t want to get buried in mixes again. The happy thing is most are 15ml. If something good comes to mind I may mix but not looking to right off.

Ah but our buds are all different. Bronze likes his Dark Fire at 8% and I’ve found I like mine better at 7%

Give it a few days to settle as it does mellow a bit. I like Butter Mint at 3.5% but I do like my mints to be really minty.

I have made my Creamy Butter Mint subbing the heavier cream out each time. The original recipe is:

    Butter Mint (Purilum) 3.5%
    Cream (Flavorah) 1%
Cream Fresh (Panna Fresca) (FA) 1%
    Holy Vanilla (DIYFS) 1.5%
    Marshmallow (FA) 1%
    WS-23 30% .50%

Keeping everything else the same, I have made this subbing for the FLV Cream: 1% VT Sweet Cream; 2% FA Whipped Cream; and 2% CCW Devon Cream. All are delicious. I think you could sub INW Shisha Vanilla at the same percent for the DIYFS Holy Vanilla and be happy with it. The recipe is versatile and I am really enjoying it.

Of all the tests with mixing flavors with butter mint (goes for all mints) it can easily overtake other flavors. Doesn't mean I don't still love it.

Haven't tried it but I like licorice and dark berries so it's so on my wishlist now.
