Good morning random folks Have you any plans?

Good morning my fellow mixers of fantastic brews. I filled up all the cars with gas, wife is in the dining room working. I am glad she is home, I was worried she would get stuck far away and not be able to get back to home base.

This morning was fresh seafood day for the terrapins. I wake up every morning at 6 am to get all the terrapins and turtles fed. There is a lot of breeding activity going on. I am hoping for a good season despite not being able to sell anything overseas due to the virus.

I did some mixing yesterday. I have been vaping a ton of that creamy caramel hazelnut recipe that I posted. It's definitely my favorite.

I've been worrying about @Shadav for quite a while now. Her last post, on October 17, read, "hi, sorry, been going through some things, not doing so well at the moment." She'd been much more silent before then, too.

This is the worst thing about internet connections: people disappear and mostly one has no way of finding out what happened to them.

That's rather worrisome indeed. Her posts were a big help during my start into DIY.

I have ventured out to the grocery. Got the last pack of eggs. Oddly, I feel like I won the lottery (sad state of affairs out there for people who need to fill the larder).
I’m still planning on doing my Stixx mixes today. I saw a recipe yesterday using amaretto with cherry tobacco. I’m thinking of trying to do a tiny one of that. Chefs order is in Chicago with my (correct) apricot. So, probably hold off on the Dark Fire until it gets here.
@Bronze ... what was the final decision on Honduran + berry mix? I may just go with the raspberry with it

I'm actually giving some thought to getting the Berry Mix. Just sounds good to me. @Bronze What is your recipe?

I can't remember but I tweaked it and will be trying it later. Truthfully the berry mix basically renders blueberry worthless in these recipes.

My memory is not what it used to be, it seems......it is starting to bother me quite a bit here lately. Not liking it at all...sux.

I think that's par for the course, my own memory seems to be failing me most days but they tell you when you notice there isn't a problem, the problem is when everyone but you notices! Haha true that!

If you mean TFA berry mix, it's not that good (at least without using other berries too... and has an off taste at higher %)

Actually, I may have mixed it to high % (when I started, I did tend to do that) It did work well with my boysenberry preserves (at lower %)
