So I got all my new flavors in elr. I’m up to 214.
Shisha vanilla smells fabulous! Butter my biscuit smells just like a buttered biscuit. How do they do that? And the Am4A smells so good. Yay for new stuff!

Yeah,I’ve had those too. Some you can smell as soon as you take the cap off.
LOL....yup. What % do you mix that lemon cake at? Only bought it cause it's said to be a good cake flavor and not much lemon taste. Hoping to bury the lemon in a mix.
I thought that was some DIY slang at first, then I realised you were talking about actual meat and smoking it, lolGood morning mixers. I picked up a brisket tip yesterday that I dry rubbed and put in the fridge last night. I’m going to go out soon and get the charcoal started for the smoker.
I’m going to mix a few sft from the flavors I received yesterday.
Thanks, that helps. I’ll be using a fruit stronger than blueberry so I shouldn’t have any trouble getting the lemon buried .I used 3% Lemon Cake with 3% Blueberry. With that I could barely taste the Lemon but the cake was strong. The 3% for the lemon cake was just a guess but it seemed about right. That was without steeping. I used it all before it had a chance to steep so I don't know what it would have been like. I assume cake takes a while to steep. I'm planning to make some more and up the Blueberry. I found some notes I copied years ago saying the BB should be 5% to 10%.
I usually vape through steeping. It's cool to see flavor profiles changing everyday. Also I noticed that vaping through steeping speeds up the process, probably because you move the bottle quite often and slightly warm it up with your hand every time you touch it.That's my theory anywayI used 3% Lemon Cake with 3% Blueberry. I’ll try it in the lemon tart recipe. If I don’t taste a huge difference, I’ll send it to you. I don’t have the most discerning taste buds. I do want to sft it though.I wanted that one but it was out of stock when I ordered.
I am back, the husband be smoking dope, I told him 15 minutes and like, well, I will update y'all so like I can catch up later. I decided to go to Northwest after all and like, I am glad I did because I was hearing tales of all the U of A (Banner) hospitals like keeping you past 'your time" because they wanted to bill for it and I was like, "I would not handle that appropriately" and I was on my OWN in there they do not let anyone come with you. Nope. So, we dropped off the rental first after getting the husband's car and he said I was "weaving heavily" and I was like, "I don't care I didn't hit anything and I HATE your vehicle and then we went to the hospital and they put stickers all over me to indicate my potentially awesomely KILLER status but they all seemed competent and like, knew their jobs.
First I was all temped and masked and all my temp was like 101 when I got there and 101.6 when I left but I was cool with it, I didn't care by then. They like COVID swabbed me and LET ME TELL You that Covid Swab (the first one) made me MAD because there is NO freaking way they did it correctly. The guy was like, "I will swab you now" and like I was like, "Yeah done it no biggy it just takes a second. " The second swab was a big more enthusiastic and took five minutes and he was telling me to breathe and also "Grab onto something" and also "Cry" and well, uh, it was like the difference between having your foreskin lightly tickled versus like a FULL on Adult male circumcision, no anesthesia, I think. I was like, "Um I am not sure if there is any freaking COVID left in my head, but he for SURE did it ENTHUSIASTICALLY." If there is any, it will be found." So like yeah, my job does about 90% of the swabbing in Cochise county I think their rates are artificially low because they sort of gently wiped your nose hair with the swab back when it would have been USEFUL.. Yay. My nose, today, still hurts.
So the doc came in and said I had a fever and a wheeze and I said, "I know. I have had these for 6 weeks now which is why I am here." He was like, "It's kinda late for the swab but we will do it, it's justified." So then, they took about 75 vials of blood after putting in a hep lock which I dealt with admirably. Actually, I THINK this may have been my most model patient experience I was SO TIRED I couldn't be obnoxious.
They all kept updating the husband before me and like, that annoyed me because well I was like "They didn't even say what they took my blood FOR to me, why are they saying they are all freaking HAPPY with it?" I did not ask too many questions though. They brought me one of those old people toilets and pretended they needed a urine sample (they did not) instead of saying like they just didn't want to me to use a REAL bathroom. Had it ben legal I think they would have locked me in my room. Hospitals don't play.
Then they were all "We gonna do a Full CT of your lungs with contrast" and I have to say, like, the guy doing it was super nervous. He told me all the death side effects often, and I was like THE CT is gonna get NOWHERE near the dental implants right?" and he was like "Yes," and I have never had one so I got this really weird description of what it "might" feel like including "blowing out a vein" and my veins are lovely so I said faintly "I would like if that did not happen honestly."
To be fair, I thought my son was a large female cat when it came to contrast CTs but honestly when it comes down to it it's sort of intimidating the machine talks to you in this weird sort of soothing but angry female voice about breathing or not and like stuff, and then you have to deal with believing you have to pee.. But you don't.
So that was my "bad but good test" no infection but just a TON of inflammation and like steroids and stuff. The guy was like it could be COVID leftovers, I pointed out I still had daily fevers, but he said inflammation could cause fever and I was like "True enough." He said it could be "asthma' I was like I don't really have it or allergies and I was like, "I am allergic to NOTHING including your contrast CT apparently but cool YAY inhaled an oral steroids AT THE same time how GREAT is this, and then I was like "I don't care it might fix it." I asked for the special steroids that don't' make you psycho but the doc himself was all flushed and stressed and I was like "Eh, F it."
So the only bad things I did I guess (well nurses have this magical power of like REALLY being able to enter another dimension like when they say, "I will be right back" when you are in the middle of saying "WAIT THE CT stuff really DID make me need to pee--help! The results can wait." Only off to the portal he went. So I had to empty my pee chair into the sink but I do not think it was my FAULT because I called for aid twice, and was rejected so like "I guess they do not care about this chair, or sink, but I REFUSE to squat in a CORNER leave me some dignity at least.
Also the last ten minutes I got really fed up and started ripping all the monitor stuff off me, because I could no longer take it. I would have ripped out my heplock I have before but I thought that was a little too Linda Hamilton.
So yeah, I get the results of COVID in 1--3 days. I asked the guy if that could be why I was still having fevers and he said maybe or just GENERAL inflammation. He was SUPER unhappy with my fingers but I was like dude yeah, they are a BIT fatter but Tucson is like you know HOT and also I had clubbed finger's long ago from my 3 ppd habit.
But overall I looked really sick but I guess I am mostly fine, I got lots of me scanned.
I would just like to have someone explain the fevers.
K better go eat. Later My family got wind I was in there so it was all texting them and their questions non stop. Okay it's nice but it also sucks.

Hoping they gave her meds that will actually help.Anna, I'm glad you finally went. Maybe at least now you can get some answers. I think it's usually better to know what's going on instead of guessing.
Oh well. I get to see a pulmonologist too, they're always fun. He said my COPD is better!
