Good morning. I must have eaten something bad yesterday. After I helped my daughter clean her car, I got the worst stomach ache and it lasted most of the night. It's still a little queasy today. The strange thing is that I ate things that I normally eat and didn't get take out or anything. I'm back at work and don't much feel like being here.

It was a lot worse last night. I'm good enough to be in the shop today but am going to put off a service call that I need to do until tomorrow. It's not an emergency and is just to do calibrations so it's no big hurry. I didn't promise to do it today so the customer will be fine. They just asked to be put on the work list to get it done.

Probably a good idea to put off the service call.

Morning, mixers. Rain continues, although likely scattered today. Which usually means it's not raining until you go outside. :p

    Hi happy mixing people :headbang:
Popping in to ask if anyone has a good recipe using OOO Powdered Sugar?
I bought it and cannot remember why and cannot find a recipe I saved to make something with it.
    Thanks

I did the same thing. I bought it and don't think I ever used it in a recipe.

I tried the dragon vineyard recipe some yesterday. I left out the ws23. I'm not really loving it. I expected the grape flavor to be way more forward. For me, grape seems to be one of those illusive flavors that I just can't get where I like it.

It was a huge place and open to tour. I refused to go in. I was afraid of what I would see and or feel. I got a really bad feeling just looking at the barred windows.

My first internship in SW school was at one of the oldest State Hospitals in the country. It had HUGE grounds but a lot fewer wards. Most of the abandoned buildings had asbestos in them so you couldn't go in. They had this museum of old MI things including a lobotomy chair. I mean it was horrifying but I am glad I got to see one.. Pretty creepy including lots of other stuff.

I think they eventually sold most of the grounds to make an office park so it got even smaller. State facilities are not large these days, not since they kicked everyone to the curb into "hahaha we shall pretend to give it a relevant name "Community Mental Health." It wasn't so bad honestly although my unit had actual murderers and stuff. One guy had been there for 28 years and got day passes and stuff. I guess I can't say if that was a great idea or not.

I have driven by completely abandoned ones, but like, I don't think I would have broken IN or anything.

Creepy but cool, if you are ever n Philly you should go here: Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site

It's amazingly beautiful in this odd sort of way and for a long time they had one of the REAL famous mobsters, but I forget who. It really is neat though.

The strange thing is that I ate things that I normally eat and didn't get take out or anything. I'm back at work and don't much feel like being here.

Keep an eye on your temp for a couple days if you remain puny. COVID can start with digestive issues, so I hear. I mean.... It's probably not that but be on the safe side anyway.

I gotta get ready to go to Tucson tomorrow, like fingerer prints and stuff. THE FIRST thing am gonna do is call SS and stuff, though. I really gotta get on it, honestly.

I am tired again this am but it just seems to be the way it goes at times. Meh. I took me and all my little things to bed, and fell asleep less than a half hour later.

My alarm woke me up. I said to the husband "Why you no wake me.: He was like, uh, your alarm went off? Maybe he is trying to rehabilitate me too.....

Bleugh. I am finding my morning cup of OJ far more wakable for me these days than coffee. Maybe I am fooling me because I do drink the coffee first. I am down to a thermos and a half though.

I’ve been having trouble getting my Grape Love recipe where I want it. I’m on my 3rd try now.

Given my past ability’s to hear and see things I really didn’t want to, I would never set foot in one of those places.

Whelp I am moving in the right direction. I am on hold with SS which has suspended all in office services. LOL they won't even tell you your estimated wait time or like, offer you the call back option. This could take a while but it is my MAJOR task for the day. Etc.

@hittman I’m going to be trying a new grape. I really wanted to get the OOO Green Mango That folks say is tart. I didn’t want to pay shipping on one flavor so I added 3 more. One is the CNV Grape. This is only the second thing I’ve got for myself with the stimulus money. Price of meat has gone up so much I’ve been helping Dd with that as much as I can.

@NolaMel I hear you could be getting a super cool pretty puppy??
Pictures a plenty over in shiny after hours.... but here’s a peek. I have a dna test coming. I’m curious beyond measure to see what he is. He’s supposed to be @2yo, 40ish pounds.

He indeed is cute. I am betting he has a little bunny and/or dingo dna in him. They're leapers too.

Oh Gosh so SS is going. It's gonna be all easy from here, and well, it would be nice if my disability check showed up sometime I guess. I wouldn't even KNOW what to buy I've been out of the loop. LOL.

It's been plenty windy and rainy over here on the east side, but yeah nothing worse than I've seen with severe thunderstorms except for the length of time of course.
Usually the east side is the wet one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad it turned out to not live up to the forecasters expectations. I just expected more rain and wind.
I checked the steep box. It’s pretty full. Trying to decide if I can squeeze in a few mixes with whatever’s in my BCF box.
