@hittman how did you write up your master list/inventory of flavors?
I was thinking of something like this, i.e.
    Blueberry - CAP 1x 30ml
    Blueberry Extra - TFA 1x 30ml, 1x30ml (partial)

I'd like to keep track of what and how much I have, as to not run out. I'd probably keep inventory of nic and VG as well
    i.e.
    100mg nic salts - 10x 120ml, 8x 60ml

I don't track quantity but probably should. If a bottle is starting to get low then I check my 30+ oz bottles to see if I have more. If I don't then I add it to my wishlist at bcf.

I just have my list organized first by flavor name alphabetically, second by brand, third by case number and finally by slot number in that case. It would be easy to add another column in my table in MS Word for quantity. I'm just not dedicated enough to record it on the form or on the computer every time I take .05 or more of a flavor to use in a recipe.

I had been only mixing due to necessity, rather than for enjoyment or fun. I was horribly depressed the last 3 months, so even taking a few minutes to mix something, or even clean my supplies/gear was a monumental task. I'm with you on simple(r) recipes. I once did a 12 flavor recipe, and it really wasn't worth it and a pain in the rear. I'd probably be better off buying a one shot for something like that. I like to stick to 1-5 flavors

I've been disappointed a few times after buying a bunch of flavors to make a 10-12 flavor recipe. On the up side though, I've gone back and used those flavors in other recipes so it wasn't a waste.

Thanks for your input. I'll do what is best and works for me, but definitely use your suggestion of alphabetizing it by flavor and by brand. I could probably go even further by categorizing it by flavor groups, but since I don't really have too many maybe that's not necessary.. I was very curious to see how you did it since you seem to be very good at organizing. IIRC you are an electrician, which requires methodical thinking, planning, and organizing, which I think would transfer to other aspects in your life.

Yes the bonus of that 12+ flavor recipe is that I was equipped with flavors that I wouldn't have had, and more options opened up for me! The recipe was a disappointment, but gaining the learning experience and extra flavors to use was positive.

I'm not only a master electrician but also a master procrastinator. Trust me, I'm not as organized as you might think and it took me a long time to get to the point of getting past the procrastinating to actually put in the work to get everything organized well enough so that mixing was enjoyable instead of a chore. I tend to use the organized chaos system of organization. My wife is the really organized one in our family. That is except for when she's scrambling to clean up for company. Then she throws stuff in boxes and down to the basement it goes never to be seen again.

I haven’t heard much feedback on the green banana. I need to try mine soon. Maybe this weekend.
I like it a lot. I would say if you don’t like green bananas irl, it may not be your cup of tea.
Did you say you liked the 4ml zlide better than the zenith, or was it better than the 22mm zlide?

Pretty much how I work, as well. Including not tracking usage ;) Although I use a spreadsheet in Libre Office :) New flavor purchases get added, then resort on name and print a fresh copy.

Another tweak - put the case and slot number on the flavor bottle, makes it REALLY simple to put them back :)

Good morning flavorers! I was having this "thing" where I couldn't read my screen at ALL and yeah it's an itty bittty computer but the screen is an HD1080. I was like, 'are my old lady eyes getting that bad, that quickly? I mean I was magnifying stuff.

Then, I realized I had my brightness turned all the way down. Oops. Well better that than the alternative. They husband just left to go to Tucson something to do with a kitchen sink. I will be doing yoga, some boxes,, but not going nuts. We'll just take it as it comes.

I know @FranC is off playing with the jellysharks, etc. but I will still say good morning and don't get "et" by any creature from the sea!

I desperately want to be organized. There are some tasks where I jus never will be though and I have accepted it. So I have three different sized bottles of condensed milk of varying sizes, when one could last me the rest of my life? So be it.

I think I would like to separate out my one shots though. I feel that might be an achievable goal.

Oh... I am officially mad at my sis. She keeps saying the riots and looting (I mean, the protesting) are INSPIRED. She says it's all "gentle protests" and I have read the news and it's not. For one, as my personal favorite sentence I have EVER read about looting 'Some even entered the Cheesecake factory and exited with WHOLE cheesecakes," so it's clear these protests are getting a bit looty if we are talking about WHOLE cheesecakes. Also it appears at least SOME of the protesting is NOT harmless and kind at all.

The "autonomous zone" doesn't look at all pleasant to me and it seems to be at least partially governed by Antifa and last I checked they were like, a terrorist group.

My little sister, the commie, is letting MY niece go be "inspired" and protest and she is so deep inside Seattle like I don't even know. Trump (who I now know his hair is not a toupee, it's going nice and white) wants to send troops in and even the Seattle PD are made at the governor and want to go back in. I kind of agree, I am not a fan of autonomous zones, especially when they don't belong to you. Go get you a nice compound if you must. Don't take over and destroy city blocks.

Plus, will they not run out of food at some point? I miss the 60s when autonomous commie campgrounds were just safe and pleasant sometimes nudist BUT if you check it OUT none of them are LEFT which gosh, oh my, is more evidence CCOMUNISM does not work. It has never worked. It is NOT a workable solution.

I'm just gonna let it be. If my sis wants to raise a little communist like, who thinks law and order don't matter and protesting in "inspiring?" Well, I suppose my kid can be a bit of a slacker at times so who am I to judge.

If my sis calls it "inspiring" one more time though I am going to have to let her have it with both barrels. So perhaps I will move on to like, another, safer topic dude.. I mean holy bejesus.

I do like the 4ml zlide better than the smaller zlide by quite a bit and even like it a little better than the zenith. I feel like the zlide has a little more airflow than the zenith. I really wasn't impressed with the zenith pro. I ended up putting it in storage.

OMG......so I'm not the only one doing the box in the basement trick! HAHAHA! I did that not too long ago and this morning I had to go down there and get a box of paperwork to find stuff to go to the bank. Too funny!

Um, retired hydro plant electrician. Those two things go together, since we need to wait for the zero crossing to touch the wires :)

I put the pro in the stash too. I ordered a couple of the 4ml zlides since they were cheaper than the zenith at the moment. The pup knocked my mod over on a slate top table, first zenith to bite the dust. I have a pile of coils, so I needed to replace it.

My mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday so as usual, I asked for a pair of danskos. It required a lot of online shopping. They have about a jillion patterns man, but well if you are buying a pair of 150 dollar shoes (that's just wrong, but I guess it is also what birthdays are for) well, I have all the neutral colors because when you are running around all day you want to have them, really, as a yogini. But my mom is the reason I have the cool awesome patterns.

Okay I am 100% convinced my poor little niece is going to turn into a rebellious little communist. I mean... She's sweet! Smart but gullible! I would call her and give her some auntly advice, but like we barely know each other I mean, I love her but like we are so different we barely talk.

If it was my nephew going out to peacefully protest, I would have no worries. He has a strong mind. He is also HORRIFICALLY smart. He'd probably find a way to BLOW UP Antifa and then he'd be like, "There's your peaceful protest for you." My sister would like FREAK and I would call and be like" GREAT JOB HIGH FIVE ALL THE WAY FROM HERE!" Because when we visit we spend all our time on dastardly acts. He's the best.

Poor kid like, has had therapy ALREADY but it's okay, when you've got the "my streak of family madness," you GET to go to therapy so you can learn to fit into society etc. I have it (clearly) my kid had it, and when he was complaining about therapy this one time, I was like, "Listen kid, you don't have to believe it. You jus have to know these things, and how to apply them to your life so you don't wind up in jail. There are many things in this life I think might be fun, interesting and useful (being a commie terrorist is not one however) that I do not do, even though I may not want to, and we are a law abiding family so LEARN it and do it." Then I gave him some of my goodwill smash plates.

I am getting up any minute now. Called the WRONG SSDI by accident, can't face it again. Called in my scripts and yoga is calling but it will have to be after a bit more PURGING.

I am going to be purging books. That's never good. I mean I hoard paper from Bank of America in the early 2000's and this stuff is paper with INTERESTING things on it (presumably.)

I am going to use the will you reread ever, did you read it YET and it's 10 years old approach.

    Anna

ETA: If my niece becomes a commie terrorist I get to deprogram her! I have always wanted to attempt that, I have even read several books about it. I may have to text my sis that my niece's actions are inspiring to ME now and I hope she protests as much as she can, but that would be deeply unethical so I CAN'T. Sigh. This whole protest/loot/riot thing is kind o a downer frankly.

The husband is so happy, he is goofy happy as it happens. Even though he knows.... the madness we will have to accomplish. Neither one of us wanted to come to AZ (I was firmly a Baltimore girl although I'm not sure it's the right place for us now. It's like he can really SEE the contractors doing a great job. we are going to sell this house and NO flags on like, my application which seems to be going far. He's like SUPER happy, he really is.

It's nice to see. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly. It will be what it is, but I think a change of atmosphere is definitely needed.
    Anna
I hope the change of atmosphere is great for both of you
