Plan on getting some cuttings of some rhubarb, raspberry, some cherry bush, mock orange shrub. A bit of this and that, and then pack up tonight and hit the road early tomorrow morning. This town is swarming and overrun with tourists, and we have a long way to go.. 600 miles. I coiled and wicked my Erlkönigin yesterday, and as much as I love the doggys it's a shame I shelved the Erl for so long. It's a tighter draw than the doggy, but it packs more of a punch in terms of nic and flavor, even with the same exact coil ohm and diameter.

    Somewhere between here and there
Good morning mixers. I cleaned a few tanks this morning and need to get out and mow at some point. My neighbors down on the corner usually have an all day party and light fireworks until way late. I’ll be curious to see if it’s the same this year. I’m not going anywhere tonight.

I’m trying the lemon custard recipe even though it’s only a few days old. It seems a little weird to me with the sour lemon. Maybe because I usually use fe lemon. I filled one tank and am going to put the rest away to steep.

No major plans as yet. "All parties have been cancelled' gets likes, including from me. It is a sad world out there, my goodness. Leave IF the magic envelope comes (it' won't) or continue on boxes (probably it's a new day for the husband to attempt to not be an annoying. He is sound asleep I could empty a box this second but I am now awake yet.) But yes that and yoga.

I would say fool with my vapes but they have all been fooled with.

    Where do you call home?
I guess wherever we lay our heads lol
We are somewhat travelling vagabonds, with multiple abodes (but trying to pare it down to just one, maybe). Also trying to get a travel trailer which will require selling property(s). But most of the year we currently call home in Michigan. Where we are now in MN, we called this home, year round, for quite a few years. It's hard to let go of MN though as this is where I grew up, and in this town was my formative years and where I met and got together my wife/partner. I have so many memories, the good the bad and the ugly here. I wouldn't be the person I am, or even be in Michigan without this town. We are always trying to think of ways to hold on to this property that make sense financially, but it's such a complicated problem requiring a complicated solution.

Good late morning random folks:) Have you any plans this Fourth of July? No plans for the 4th here. All parties have been canceled.

Just a private grill up for two here.

Last night the GD showed up and mowed the lawn. I wasn't looking forward to doing that since it's in the 90's now. Made her wear a mask when she came in to use the bathroom. She's OK with that.

Yesterday I wicked and coiled all my stuff. Today I might mix some juice, or maybe not.

My favorite thing my tribe ever did was hold fireworks (and really they were a better show) on July 3rd EVERY year even if it was raining (this was Tucson, this hardly ever happened) in a kind of "We were here first you colonials" type deal.

The thing that amuses me the most about it? That tribe was not even HERE, let alone able to be incorporated until WELL after the US was good and exorcising the Native folks. They fled (some of them) genocide in Mexico but they are hardly "Native American" except with the fireworks, the casinos and the Sovereign nation thing. I don't know how they pulled it off, really.

Color me impressed though, to be honest. If you can do that, you should.

Like, I'm from Australia and I would love to have a sovereign nation of "one' or even "a select few" with land awarded to me (only I pick it, none of this let me put you on this piece of waterless, shale and scrub in the middle of No Place.)

I would let anyone and EVERYONE have a vape emporium, hell, I would have a vape ALLEY of stores, honestly. Etc.

LOL it's always nice to say "Happy 4th" but then also muse about "The 4th." All countries are built on genocide (don't think the aborigine people had it any different for example) and this race to find the edge of the world, coated in Gold ensured it, kinda. But, Genocide does seem to be deep, deep within our bones.

Now stop trying to harm me damn it! I need to create my own Sovereign space where the government pays me no mind unless they have something I want, like the site of a hydro electric dam, and all of a sudden it becomes this odd battle where the government becomes the "Indian Givers" and the native folks are like, "Hey not TAKE BACKS!"

Happy 4th. Safe to say I am awake-er now. I hope we all have fun in whatever fashion. You know safely. I must say I am NO fan of the stupid COVID mutation, I even question whether too many people have the regular COVID and are JUST fine so they had to do something about it. But not enough of a "no fan" to do without it frankly, TBH. If I have to travel to WV on my own, I am either camping, or sleeping in my car. That is JUST how it is. I'm not HAVING another 8 weeks of "deathly sick" thanks all the same. Etc.

I will not bathe for a week, either. Oh, it won't be pretty but you do what you gotta.

Good luck on the move to WVa, maybe a truck stop along the way will offer reasonably priced showers.

You will be contiguous with Kentucky which is why the song goes, "almost heaven West Virginia".

I would not get in a Truck stop shower even IF COVID never existed LOL. I will probably scrub down my worst spots with a bucket of cold water and soap. I can take it.

But that is a hard NO on the truck stop shower. Although I HAVE like wondered how they worked in this sort of inquisitive fashion but I don't want to be standing in a poorly draining pool of crabs, lice, and COVID 19 mutation NO way.

See the genocide is starting already! HELP @CMD-Ky is trying to genocide me! It's not needed either you can totes be in my soon to be incorporated tribe!

    LOL

Aww.... So adorable. They truly are!

Okay I am off to try and unpack a box in stealth. The husband is AWAKE but I am JUST (Censored) Going for it. There is NO way our check is arriving today. If he wants to come help I will let him.

I kind of whish I had my dreamy husband's super powers and was invisible right now but I shall just see what I CAN DO. LOL.

Maybe I should have asked how many homes you own.
