I’m probably going to switch the ares over to my menthol tobacco where flavor isn’t important. It’s more about the menthol and the TH. I hate when I fall for the hype on new gear. I haven’t given up yet. I’ll try one of my tried and true recipes first and lower the coil some before giving up.

In my case it wasn't the hype. I always had my reservations about Ares 1 and I never got one. But I'm in the market for a backup rta and want something easy to build, and 24mm and glass and steel, and loose MTL--there aren't many that meet my specifications. ;)

Besides, I don't mind supporting Phil and Dimitris--they are good people and I've learned so much from them. Still hoping. Worst case, it will be relegated to unflavored or menthols. :D

So I made my first vegan tacos. I liked them better than the meat version!
Not vegan but I really like fish tacos (home-made... most places don't make then authentic) My parents went down to Baha (Mexico) and they are very common down there in the coastal areas... mom learned how to make them proper.

So I made my first vegan tacos. I liked them better than the meat version! Son actually ate a roasted cauliflower floret. And will never eat them again. I made roasted cauliflower, red/orange/green bell peppers, onions, and sweet potato with spices. Put that with some avocado and hot sauce on a flour tortilla and it was awesome.
That is so funny, we had that last night and tonight. My wife likes to use this https://www.bobsredmill.com/tvp-textured-veg-protein.html

I don’t eat fish. I’ve never liked it. It just stinks to me. Bleck. I will get nauseous walking by the seafood section at the store.

I need to try that! I’m a much better cook than DIY mixer.
It's fantastic stuff. Bob's red mill has a ton of other great products that we like to use, including a pizza crust/dough mix. We tried cauliflower crust, and it was great, but kinda tedious. I'm a pizza fanatic, a fiend, a connoisseur, and my wife's vegan pizza blew my freaking mind. She made the "cheese" with cashews.

Sounds good... do you use soy sauce on that?

Sure do. I make it exactly like I would make regular fried rice but with riced cauliflower. I always have a bag or cauliflower rice in my freezer--most supermarkets carry it. Soy sauce, veggies, egg, leftover cooked meat (like rotisserie chicken) or shrimp or whatever I have in the fridge, a little hot sauce if you like it spicy. It's such an easy one pot dish. Can't go wrong.

We have great places for fish tacos here in SoCal--maybe not as authentic as in Mexico, but good enough for me.

OK, y'all are making me very hungry! Dinnertime!

Be well and be good!

Fish is yum. And good for you. :)

ETA: If your supermarket's fish stinks, don't shop there. Fresh fish should smell like the ocean, not like fish.

I‘ve had Bob’s red mill quinoa. Good stuff. Eating fresh does require more time to prepare food but I enjoy it. Cashew cheese? Gotta look that one up.

Enough of that healthy eating talk. My oldest daughter and wife made a cookie cake on our pizza stone. It cooked over the sides of the stone and dripped over into the oven. it’s huge! I feel a stomach ache coming on.
