In my experience some tobacco flavors have a way of maturing into darker and darker shades a month or even more after the initial mix. If that happens you can always dilute with unflavored.Fran, I just realized that it’s been 20 days that the two HS tobacco flavors have been steeping. I guess it’s about time to try them.
It's a great mixer. Doesn't add sweetness so you can add a sweet flavor in a blend.I got a 50ml of blueberry milkshake mixed. I really need to get my act together when it comes to mixing. Some stuff downstairs and some stuff upstairs makes mixing a chore. I’d also like to get some premixed base made up.
I cleaned my enthion and loaded some HS magic mix(aka fortune strike). It’s strong in the enthion at 8%. However I know from other flavors tried in it that the flavor will be a bit stronger than when I get it into an rta. It’s a pretty much straight tobacco flavor with little or no sweetness. I can see where Fran uses nuts and other flavors to compliment it. Not bad at all.
Where is the blueberry milkshake recipe
Congrats. Some are good in a few daysI'm finally vaping my diy ejuice. Its only had four days steeping time - but tastes GOOD![]()
NR strawberry biscuit is a great biscuit with a bit of a boost from INW biscuit 1%. The strawberry is very soft and will cover easily if you want to use a different fruit. INW biscuit at 1.5-2% is a very good base to build on with FA cookie biscotto and the butter of your choice.I'm thinking about trying a biscuit, cocoa, sweet and/or fresh cream mix, any ideas?
What is your end goal? From the description are you headed for a chocolate biscotti with a cream topping?I'm thinking about trying a biscuit, cocoa, sweet and/or fresh cream mix, any ideas?
Hi @FranC,
Sorry for the tardy reply.I have invoked a temporary self-depravation of ECF until I finish my concentrate reorganization. The procrastinator in me, would rather read about it, than do it.
So, until I get it done, I am not keeping up.
I still check in every day (or so) to check for tags and PMs. But, otherwise, I will have some catching up to do.
As to your question:
Yes; 1% of 30mL is 0.30mL (Not ".3%" as you wrote; but I think that was just a typo.).
If you have created a dilution of 1% Italian Cream, and only want to use only 1% of that dilution, then you are correct. That is going to incorporate only 0.0001 of the original/full strength concentrate.
1% of 1% = 0.01 x 0.01 = 0.0001 = 0.01% = one ten thousandth of the original concentrate.
The most common dilution I am familiar with is a 10% (0.10) dilution. And, that dilution, is then treated like a traditional concentrate. This is how I have seen other mixers make using otherwise difficult-to-use ingredients, like FA Condensed Milk, Acetyl Pyrazine, and FLV Rich Cinnamon, easier to control minimal adjustments.
By doing so (the 10% dilution), I have to use 10 times the volume, to get the same effect, as the original concentrate. If I were to do a 1% dilution; I would have to use 100 times the volume, to get the same effect.
That doesn't mean a mixer can't use a 1% dilution as a concentrate... I just have not heard of it being done.![]()
