A pole saw is what I need and I could probably do most of this tree cutting myself as they don't even require climbing. I do a lot of things I never thought I'd ever do...but chain sawing is not one I'm comfortable with whatsoever. I'll leave that to the professionals. Dad said he could do it but I'm too hard headed and independent for that and I hate to ask for stuff from him as he's not in the best health...although he just cut down one of his own. He's a wild man and you will never slow him down.

    They aren’t expensive. I don’t remember exactly but think I paid 30-40 for a 14’ pole saw.

@hittman , it's never too late for you to adopt me. I'm just saying..... Your girls have a great dad!

Oof that was a fun time. The husband rented a car because he is paranoid about taking mine because my registration is like, expired and stuff.

I just did a Sufi or otherwise like, um sort of prayer to protect me, my loved ones and all my stuff and my mom did some thing where she is supposed to be protected- - herself and all her ancestry, like, 7 generations forward and back, so like, I don't worry that much and it seems to include in laws. Seems to me we are doing just fine.

Anyway, the car rental place did not have a vehicle and not only that, scolded the husband for his "after hours" rental I mean come on, there are electronic ways to keep track. Meh. So anyway like, after an hour went by he was like, "We are going to drive there." I was like, '"Uh okay so that sounds like a bad plan." Enterprise was a HIVE of activity but no car for the husband, etc. So I was like, honey.... (He is pretty dang miserable) just.... take this car. So he did.

So, we'll see how that turns out. I told him if he ran into difficulties to like, run to a hive of "black lives matter now that we are commies" people, and he would be safe... if he kept his mouth shut. I warned him very clearly what would happen if like, he began discussing the crud he discusses and etc.

I did my part, I hope he returns safely with his "pain meds." It's just me and the dog. Dog wants to be outside because that is where his favorite human is a lot of the time but I better check on him every now and then to make sure he did not go popsicle. It's not THAT cold it just FEELS that way to me.

I am kind of thrilled to have a day off the husband this apartment is TINY. :Gah.

In any case, having one car is great! Especially as you are trying to get it reregistered in AZ! And then here! And DL so we can buy a house.

My flavors were at 50.60. I decided I would add another couple flavors and I did and I magically got free shipping. But, I am glad I did it that is an excellent sale.

I woke up NOWHERE near like 4 am this morning but the way I see it? It's not really..... It's gonna suck whenEVER I do it, whenEVER. And as to the flavors I probably saved the husband 75 bucks (50 bucks with vehicle taxes) to go get his medication. Etc.

I think we will both live. Next week I am requesting we deposit the check.

    Anna
Deposit the check? Does that mean it's time to find a house quickly before the money's spent? Was your husband's trip successful?

Those are nice. I’ve thought about getting one. What I really need is about an 18’ pole saw or rent a lift.
They do come longer but a lift may be a better idea, depending on the tree.

@FranC Yes we have like 75 more days to deposit it. We are gonna sit down with a mortgage lender of our choice (which my husband has to get a WV license as do I and they make you make appointments and the poor husband was unable to get his birth certificate in a strange no address loop. His mom is sending it. I can get mine but I am more focused on a Pdoc although I got my meds, my doc was predictably awesome and gave me a free phone session got my new insurance and they are all coming except the one I was gonna run out of and he just called it in to CVS.

You could tell he felt really bad. He has been my doc for over a decade, and lets face it that is NOT easy. HE was EQUALLY as thrilled we got rid of my fine motor tremor and it' s not like he WANTS me to reduce anything (which is rather brave of him given his license) but like, finding another doc. I gave him phone numbers and he asked for email fax as he has a very lovely letter written about what a wonderful young lady I am and what I have been through and that I have not been hospitalized, psychotic or suicidal in over a decade. He wants to email them with my med regimen to see who bites. So, I have to like, get that info tomorrow and email it.. I really don't know how I got a doc like that (who also saw my kid and the husband) other than I was very lucky . You don't always wind up with an MD/'PhD trained in CA schools in the middle of Tucson. But he has ALWAYS helped me and even at my most anxious he is like, "We can get it done." I was like... "Doctor... My probationary period is a YEAR. If I have to reduce these things which I did with the Ambien well it can be like ONE after another I do have to have periods of super functionality and learning

He is A okay. I miss him a bunch. He is retiring in a year or I would ask him to stay my doc but that's not really fair. He's kinda like the uh, relative you see and well... He got me through the husband's PTSD and everything.

The check will not be touched until we decide what debt if any will be paid off to boost (probably my husband's credit score which is good. I provide the income, he provides the credit score. Then we will prequalify and buy, but like, I think prequalifying watthour being able to get a mortgage due to driver's license issues is not smart.

It should be another month or so but fortunately for us, the holiday season, NO one wants to buy houses. All I see is price reductions. :So I am good with it.

No we are in ONE house, expenses are way less we are ,managing on our incomes. As I told anyone who might be sniffing around for dough, that money is FOR HOUSE ONLY. I want a mortgage I can pay in retirement.

Work is going good too, so there is THAT.

Some of these hectic & or stressful days,
If nicotine wouldn't kill me by injecting-it or drinking-it,
that's what I'd do, on those days !
(If i wasn't so scared of needles)
When I was smoking-the-nasty-cigs, I could just eat-one sometimes, that's how bad my body is w/wanting nicotine !
    On hectic/stressful days in today's world !
No doubt, I feel you, no criticism here. My posts just reflect where I'm at just for that moment - I'm ready for New Zealand

Yup. The good news is by the time we move, pretty much, well, we will have used up most of this 1 year lease. I am good with a bit of a breather. Especially since our house will cost less.

I am HAPPY! I really am. I love WV the leaves are turning, I am still hugging my lucky tree.

If anyone sees me and makes fun of me I shall invite them to try it.

Happier than the day I moved to Tucson by a MILE. I like my supervisor. He's not a jerk. Also, he is a black guy so we get along. I have a tendency to get along very well with black guys but I did spend several years trying to help them become functioning members of society while they called me Punky Brewster (red hair, pigtails that time in my life.) LOL. Living and working in East Baltimore when it was ALSO the murder capital of the world benefitted me greatly.

LOL I do have a few tribal families who have said me and my husband can come find refuge with them if the USA self destructs but meh. Well bolt holes can be useful.

ok so I posted a new topic but I'll ask here...
I need a good, somewhat cheap (though at this point I may splurge to get a better one) charger that can handle most battery types

the one I have is good but the 20700 won't fit in it and the 21700 barely fit, I couldn't tell you anything about it it's in chinese I think I bought it off of fasttech years ago and it's good...has a switch to switch between 3.6 and 4.2 and is an actual plug in not usb...takes about 6 hours to charge 2x 3000mah 18650s

the other one I have takes daysssssssss to charge batteries, LiitoKala Lii-402, you're supposed to be able to switch between 500ma, 700ma, 1000ma, and 2000ma but everytime that I try it just reverts to 500ma...and it's usb plug in not an actual plug

I have another one but it's crap, it was a gift from a contest MXJO....don't know if it itself is crap or I got a defective one but it only works half the time and it seems to be cheaply made....I really should just throw it away...

I would like a 4 bay charger but a 2 bay is fine
that can handle most battery sizes and aa/aaa as well would be nice

I wish I had my grandfathers stash...growing up he had a ton of rechargeable batteries and chargers out in the garage...looking back on it, which for the 80ies that was extremely impressive
I PD $7.99 for my XTAR MC2 Plus at LIIONWholesale. Good for me. Would I buy it again? Without hesitation
