@hittman Still waiting for your thoughts on that lemon flavor.
How sweet?
Record players are making a comeback with the younger kids. My daughter wants one for Christmas.
I've never quite done this, but do some people make cheesecake "stones"? Does that help it pre-steep at all? I know I've seen stones used for fruits and other flavors, but not sure about if they change over time, or if the point is just to use them as a one-shot type of flavor.
I had forgotten a stone is just flavors mixed together. No help with steeping. It's a bit sweet but not over the top.
We bought one for my oldest a couple years ago while she was in college. Evidently vinyl is cool again. She and I spent a day together driving around to different record stores once.
I've made stones of different recipes before but honestly don't believe that it helps much with steeping. For me it's just a matter of convenience so I can just grab one bottle to mix with instead of 6-7 individual flavors. I also used to make a stone that had around 25% flavoring but then would use a lower total percentage when mixing with the stone.
That’s quite a complimentMuch thanks.
If it’s sweet it wouldn’t be a one shot for me. I might get a small bottle to try though.I just replied. I'm at work and just started my lunch and was trying to catch up. I also saw that session drummer said that it could be used as a one shot around 7%.
BTW make sure you post your recipes. @Zazie will put them in her blog.I'm very serious. Thank you.
Cherry cheesecake sounds interesting, mind sharing? That's definitely me. And in fact I learned my cheesecake making skills from this thread and in large part thanks to you @FranC.
I had a commercial cherry cheesecake e-liquid that I loved years ago and that was my first cheesecake recipe a couple years ago, and it came out well. I came here first and read a lot and asked questions.
The cheesecake is pretty standard compared to others that have been posted on here, and many of the other ones I think are winners (and a few that aren't) are here somewhere.BTW make sure you post your recipes. @Zazie will put them in her blog.

You listed both as V1. Interesting base. I use either TFA or Cap, I rarely mix them but I do. My mascarpone comes in at 1%. I would find it difficult to limit myself to 3% to add because some flavors need very little and some need a lot.The cheesecake is pretty standard compared to others that have been posted on here, and many of the other ones I think are winners (and a few that aren't) are here somewhere.
But here's my current one. I tend to change them up a little from batch to batch. All on the ELR website too.
-Cheesey Cheesecake Base w/ 3% flavor of choice-
1% Cheesecake Graham Crust TPA
2% Graham Cracker (Clear) TPA
0.75% Mascarpone WF
2.5% NY Cheesecake v1 CAP
2.5% NY Cheesecake v1 CAP
3% other - add after base has steeped
I use the New York Cheesecake v1 and V2 just to cut down on the bad stuff because I vape quite a bit of liquid some days.

Thanks girl! I saw those when I googled but they aren’t familiar to me so I passed them by. I need to take some time to google and learn about it before I pull the trigger.

Another thing about cheesecake is I can easily control the sweetness. That’s a big thing with me.
