Happy Sunday morning mixers of elixirs...

Morning, mixers.

Plans... coffee. Then, maybe, coffee.

After that, some coffee.

And, well, it's a morning game for "my" team, so football. And coffee :)

One day, in this lifetime, I will realize the joy of watching morning football in my boxers.

Question for all you Stixx Mixx fans. What percentages do you mix your NETs at? I've been trying them all here and there since mixing them over 7 weeks ago. After 7 weeks I am noticing they are finally tasting really nice. I think I may have used too low of a percentage (6%) and it is the reason why it took almost two months, dunno. I am really happy with Butter Rum Cavendish and finished the tank. I loaded up Honduran this morning, and I'm just waiting on the Sceptre to finish charging before I try it.

I mixed mine between 6-8 depending on recipes.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

    Morin' Random People . . .

As for plans today, well since I achieved and even exceeded "My" goals of yesterday . . . Went to store early and got the few items NEEDED just in case "ETA" does visit and cause any problems . . . Oh Yea - Even did something I wasn't planning on . . . Although it is a very "tedious process", I finally got so inspired by everyone, I actually mixed ahead of time 2 - 60 ml and 3 - 30 ml bottles of "Bea's Menthol" slightly modified and different strengths to "My" liking . . . Also filled a couple of spare 30 ml bottles of back-up NIC/Koolada for emergencies . . . Took a nape before dinner . . . Made Calamari . . . AND - Then settled in for the night to watch "Our" New Vice-President & President Elect give a very rousing inspirational speech (Hope inaugural day is even better) . . . Stayed up to watch SNL . . . AND - Finally went to Bed . . . So Today, although I woke up way to early again, it will be a day to exhale - even if it is just a little while watching what track "ETA" will finally take ("We" already have a Storm Watch in effect) . . . See how My "Classies" are doing . . . Thinking about trying to get something else productive done . . . Maybe even take a Nap this afternoon . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    I usually go 8-10%

    Thanks Fran!

These are all sfts. I tend to like my NETs straight with no flavors added. On the next go around I'll try 8% instead...

I’ve been liking them solo also. Did you get cherry cavendish? That’s one of my favorites.

I got the rest of my sample recipes mixed this morning. None are my recipes but sounded good. I mixed:

    Butterscotch cream pie
    Honey and cream cake
    Jack the Ripple
    Nutterly Disgusting

I also got out Julia Su’s Tobacco Brûlée to try after a month steep and so far am liking it.

It's one I did not get, I should have though. I liked a vendor's cherry cavendish in the past. I'll try some at 10% next mixing session for NETs. Thanks so much.

Are the names for those mixes posted as the same on ELR?

I don’t remember if they are all on ELR or not. I’ll go ahead and just post pictures so you can screenshot them.

Strange names for a couple of them.

LOL I mixed a recipe last night called--- Yellow matter custard dripping from a dead dog's eye. Everyone was asking the guy how he came up with the name, he said it was inspired by a Beatles' song.. lol

What Honey Flavor do you like? I've used FA Honey in a few things but it almost has a soy sauce thing going on sometimes.
