What’s the most important/helpful thing you learned when you started diy, that light bulb moment when you started to make keeper mixes?
All of these were light bulb moments, at one point or another, throughout my DIY journey (no particular order):

-- Less is often more. More concentrate does not give me more/better flavors. Often less flavor, fewer ingredients (less busy), or a different ingredient altogether, provides better results.
-- Be patient. Flavors change (more often than not); and only time will show me.
-- Single flavor testing is necessary for me. I am not able to really understand what a concentrate is doing in a recipe; unless I know how it tastes on its own.
-- My taste buds are unique. Just because "everybody else" likes it; doesn't mean I will... and that's okay. (The reverse is also true... and just as okay.)
-- 10-15mL is enough. For new concentrates, recipes, and recipes under development; small is fine. This helps me waste less, and save money.
-- Buy small first. Until I know I am going to like it; there's no point buying larger sizes.
-- EM, and sweeteners, are usually not my friend. Leave these, for final additions, when everything else is as good as I can get it. They mix easily, and don't add to required aging time.
-- Be open to new ideas and products. My DIY is ever-changing. What worked last year/month/week may not work now.
-- Keep it FUN. If it stops being fun, step away for a bit. E-liquids made under duress taste like it (even old familiars).
-- I like unflavored e-liquid! Wow; what a revelation (and a relief) this was. It took the load off what I wanted to mix next, gave my taste buds a needed rest, reduced my demand for higher concentrate percentages, and allowed me to enjoy flavored mixes more when I vaped them. Game Changer!!

I would say that depends on what you like. I ordered several FA Flavors from them that aren't available in the US. Many people won't care about Premium Custard, etc. I also bought a few rebranded FA Flavors under the Flavour Creative label because they are cheaper and it made sense to get all the bang I could for the shipping fee. This time, I got VTA flavors that Bull City doesn't carry yet - Lemonade Clear, Lemonade Solo, Sour Lemon, and Green Apple along with my Botanical Gin reorder.
What’s the difference between the two lemonades?

Did you get your batteries from Lightning Vapes? They're having a BOGO on several popular types/sizes.

I wish I had now. I ordered from vapordna. I found a coupon online for $10 off of $35 or more. My total before coupon was 35 and some change.

What’s the difference between the two lemonades?

Lemonade (Clear) VTA Description “A sweet lemonade flavour that’s similar to a Sprite Lemonade without the zesty citrus tang found in say a lemon squash. This flavour is perfect to use as a single mix or blend it with other fruits such as grapefruit, raspberry and even alcohol flavours to make cocktail styled e-liquids.”

SnV Very strong sour lemon, no lemonade taste.
24hr The Lemon has calmed down now starting to taste a little more like lemonade, sweet and a little dry at the end of the exhale
11 Days Strong slightly tart lemon followed by that wet sweet lemonade taste no 'fizz'. This is a traditional/homemade type of lemonade.
16 Days The lemon has faded slightly however this still has a tart Lemon up front followed by that sweet lemonade style soda base.

Lemonade Solo VTA Description “A sweet bubbly lemonade flavour that’s perfect on its own. Open the door to creativity by mixing with other beverages such as beer, wine to create a shandy a Vape or lift sweetness and mouth-feel by using lemonade with other fruits to make them pop.”

SnV Sweet soft Lemon with a hint of Lemonade
24 hr Sweet Lemon with lemonade and a slight perfume on the exhale.
11 Days Sweet soft lemon with a lemonade background, with no effervescence , very light flavour. I would expect this, testing at this % for a concentrate with Solo in the name.
16 Days No fading, although the Lemon may have become slightly sweeter, this tastes very much like a store bought Lemonade in the style of Schweppes with no effervescence.

It is Bank Holiday Weekend in the UK. Orders are 25% off with the code BH25 through midnight Monday, UK time.

Thanks for the code @PJReid !
I was looking at Chef's last night (not sure why, certainly don't need anything). Was wishing for a sale

Nothing I love more than window shopping flavors... then buying some :D

PJ, if these are your own notes (or if you know the OP), can you tell us at what percentage each of these were mixed at? Please & Thank You!

Well the Chefs lemon flavors seem the hit of the day. I'm not big into lemon so didn't jump on the sale. I like it but can't vape it for very long. For that reason it's not my top flavor to mix with. Still holding out for a BCF sale.

Sorry about that. I accidentally deleted that info before posting. These are Liam Davey's notes (I guess the spellings are a giveaway that the author is from the UK.) He tested both at 2%.

    His recommendations for usage:

Lemonade (Clear): Use this as the primary lemonade flavour at 4%-7%. As a background 2%-4%, stand-alone 7%-10%. Should mix well with other fruit, would make a great base for a 'pink' lemonade, that Lemon will be dominant against other flavours initially if mixed at the higher % although that lemon taste will fade as it steeps, may mix well with bourbons and whisky types.

Lemonade (Solo): Use @ 6%-8% for a single flavour but expect it to be slightly perfumy until steeped a few days. Use at 4%-6% for a primary Lemonade in a mix. Use at 2%-4% as a background and 1%-2% for an accent although this will be very light. Should mix well with most fruits and Alcoholic Beverage type concentrates such as Whisky, Bourbon, Gin.

They have a LOT that isn't lemon. LOL I am a fiend for lemon so am on a mission to own them all. :D I doubt that the lemon flavors are even their most popular. They have so much that can't easily be found in the US, particularly in the one-shots which I don't buy (but maybe should.)

I have to say that I am kind of loving the Sea Breeze I mixed up with 5% VTA Russian Vodka. I was planning to put the rest of it away for the 22 day steep but have been vaping it all day. It is really good!
I have enough left to try the 5% in a mix.

I think it is a combination of the cranberry and grapefruits in the mix along with the lovely flavor from the Russian Vodka. I am really enjoying it.
I'll give it a shot I think.:) I'm quite liking the new Gin at the moment.

If you ever feel like trying a one shot get Lemon Coconut Cream Cake from Chef's. I don't really do one shots either but this is one I make an exception for. I just picked up Ginger Rogers too but haven't tried it yet. :)

I really like lemon too. I’ve been vaping one kind or another of lemonade for a couple years. It’s not the only one but has been in the daily rotation.
