I ordered yesterday but didn’t get tracking until this morning. I’m in no big hurry though. I did get vapemail today. I received the vaporesso armour pro that I bought myself for my bday early.
Did you update the firmware on the Polar yet? It corrects the fast fire and a couple of minor things. Also one for the Armour Pro. Just a different .bin file but have to download the whole program again.

:)

Any plans on this long weekend, folks? I adjusted both of my cereal mixes and put them away for another 3-4 days of steeping. I have hopes for those. No other real plans today other than working up a couple recipes. Haven't decided whether to go with baccy, cheesecake or booze yet.

@dobroeutro At what % would you suggest a tester of the OOO Cheesecake? and any guess on the Cornbread?

Anyone have suggested % for the VT Rice Base? or the VT Warm Custard?

Trying to get ready for my order.....LOL.

I typically refer to ELR for starting %ages, but not much info on the cheesecake. 4 - 7% was noted in the few comments. OOO recommends 5 -7%, so I used 6%... :D

Virtually no info on the cornbread, but I would say the same range would be good...

I haven't tried the Rice Base, but if memory serves, 5% on the Warm Custard... ;)

I'll be doing some mixes up today or tomorrow but I haven't decided what yet. I must say though I'm really liking RF ABC, FLV Bourbon and TFA Kentucky Bourbon in the few mixes I've done with them. Don't know why I never strayed into the boozy arena yet but I'm glad that I finally did.

You really need the VT Light Rum. It has a very nice boozy taste.

It has come to my attention that all my well steeped mixes are vapable but some are just so-so giving me no big desire to vape them. I need to go through them all again and either fix or get rid of. That's a long project so I'm still working on mixes.

I've got 300ml of Vendor E-Liquids en route, so I mixed 140ml of my own.

(don't understand how it works like that ....)
I've found I can't vape vendor liquid anymore. Too overflavored I guess.

Any suggestions to try to get a candy -ish type flavor for this recipe? Thanks

Anyone have suggested % for the VT Rice Base? or the VT Warm Custard?

    From Liam's notes:

Rice Base Tested @ 2% - SnV. Unsweetened plain cooked rice. 11 Days Slight increase in strength, this is without a doubt an unsweetened cooked, then dried, plain white rice, including the mouth feel of eating plain rice, after vaping you get a lingering taste of rice for a few minutes. 19 Days No change in strength or flavour Usage I'd use at 2%-4% as a primary note for that full rice mouth feel Use 0.5%-2% as an accent flavour. This would work very well in pudding recipes, wherever you need a pudding rice, Cereals at low % for a slight grain like quality, Creams, fruits (think sticky rice) and may be of use in bakeries for that slight grain quality.

Warm Custard Tested @2% - 1 Day Steep Thick creamy dairy custard without Vanilla and a malt like taste in the background 7 Day steep No change 15 Day steep No change. 22 Day Steep No Change. This is a thick vanilla free eggy custard with a thick mouthfeel. There is a slight malt like taste to this, although not as malty as their milkshake base, the malt gives this a darker warmer taste. Without the vanilla this seems a little 'hollow' in the mid notes. Suggested Usage I'd use as a main 3%-5%, Background 1.5%-3%, Accent 0.5%-1.5%. Standalone 5%-10% I'd use with Vanilla, Custards, Bakery, Fruits, Nuts and Creams.
