You're a bad influence Fran. I try to avoid the shiny thread because of all the enablers. I thought the random thread was a safe space. You've proven me wrong.
You should know by now that the Random thread is secretively known as the DIY Flavoritis thread. :D

Still, flavors are much cheaper than mods and rba's in the Shiny thread.

Yes. It all started with @Sugar_and_Spice's lemon cookie mix and notes.

Sugar had this in her recipe.

CAP Sugar Cookie v1 1.5%
SSA Shortbread Cookie 0.5%
Thanks. I tried searching for it, but no luck. I am up for anything that would help Cap Sugar Cookie. I think it tastes kind of off. I've mixed it a few times in recipes and just haven't cared for it much.

you know that's the very thing that makes it more dangerous don't you...?

it's death by a thousand cuts!

    haha haha
I'm very near the point of not needing anymore flavors. Unless of course, new flavors are released via the various flavor houses... then all bets are off. :D

And I refuse to count how many I have although I do have a pretty good idea. A lot more than a lot. I would have even more if I hadn't given my younger brother most of my TPA/TFA, CAP and some other misc other flavors when he got into DIY.

Adding some vanilla and/or creams will help to reduce, if not eliminate, the dryness.

As in real life, using vanilla in bakery vapes enhances the flavor of other ingredients in both basic and complex recipes. Like some others when it's used as an additive it doesn't need to be tasted to work it's magic. A great example is chocolate cakes. Nearly every chocolate cake recipe adds a teaspoon (or more) of vanilla extract. Make that same recipe minus the vanilla and it would not taste the same.

Vanilla extract is always added to desserts because it chemically adds more flavor, and it also helps to bring out the flavors of other ingredients in the mix.

Vanilla, cream and a juicy fruit will also help to put the 'dryness' far in the rear view mirror.

I don't find it sweet, but it tastes almost too burnt or dry or something. I have a hard time describing the off note, but I taste it.

What % did you mix CAP sugar cookie v1 at?

ETA: Alternatively, adding VTA Milk Fresh or FA Milk will help reduce dryness. Or a small amount of a yogurt. IIRC you have WF Frozen Yogurt, that would also work.
