Last night I was looking at foodie websites for some new ideas. I came across a bunch of recipes that use mascarpone cheese in puddings. Some had fruit, or nuts and cookies.

Ooooooh yummy, light bulb moment for me.

This morning I whipped up a recipe and made a new mix using FA and INW WG raspberries and FW Huckleberry in a cookie pudding mix. With mascarpone and walnut. This will be my first mix using FA's new Vanilla Cookie. I made up a 10ml to help reduce the steep time.

I'm thinking about placing a small order with BCF, not that i really need any, but 20% off is a good deal.

I'll probably end up placing an order too. I've had Pink Guava, Yakima Hops, and Guanabana in my shopping cart for awhile. I've been really wanting to mix with them, plus I need a refill on Cap Double Apple.

I put several of the new FA flavors on my wishlist but I'm not sure if I really want them all. I was thinking about getting a couple bigger bottles of croissant. I need CNV sponge cake but BCF doesn't have it. That would mean another order from DIYvaporsupply.

hey.. I'm curious - did your Zenith 2 sit flush on the new Coolfire mod or was there a tiny gap?

Mine isn't sitting perfectly flush, and I can't see if it's because the coils not in right (perhaps?) or if it's just not going to sit flush...

I think most of the recipes I have mixed have listed 2.5 to 3.5% sugar cookie in them. And yes, I do have WF Frozen Yogurt, but haven't mixed with it yet.

Using sugar cookie at 2.5% to 3% is likely why you experienced dryness and the off note you described earlier.

Try reducing it to 1.5% to 2%, that will help with both, IMO. You will very likely have to reduce the %'s of the other flavors in whatever recipes you have to compensate for any reduction in the sugar cookie.

Using flavors that have natural dryness in them at higher %'s merely enhances the dryness. Depends on the other flavors used too.

That's a good idea. I generally make a recipes as written the first time I try it. Maybe I will go back and mess with the % a bit and make some more.

Most used so far has been VTA Passion Fruit and Mango mixed with some WF Island Mango. Yummy. I have the Chem. Passion Fruit but haven’t tried it yet.

They can't have a blanket ban on flavoring, that would be like a ban on rayon. Places like TFA are safe. Vendors who market their flavors specifically for vaping are likely to have a problem. I'm using mostly TFA these days. Just in case.

Just thought I should throw that out there. My nails are pretty long right now, and pressing stuff on this phone is becoming ludicrous...

yesterday it took me forever to type in addresses to the GPS I was making so many errors... I probably should chop my nails off at this point, it's getting annoying.. lol

And at least one of those brands - if not both - are in nearly all my recipes.

Here's my hope though. That even if they end up having to stop selling in the U.S., places like Chefs may still ship flavor orders to us that include those brands.

I guess I haven't noticed in wording that would make me worried. When I see them on BCF I don't think I see any mention of vaping.
