I don’t want a gas grill. I’ve had a few before and don’t want to have a propane tank or worry about it’s full or empty. I’m not totally decided on the pit boss and may still consider a Traeger or green mountain. Also you lose a lot of space in the smoker once you go with a dual unit.
I understand (and read your comment about space on the deck) Yes, you need lots of room for the one I suggested.
I can give you some tips on the pellet smoker (from my son's experiences) They can be tricky. buy an extra heating element (just in case... they don't cost that much)

I got this one 15 years ago and it's still good. Small and simple, sits on an outdoor picnic table. Between uses I can pick it up and stick it in the garage. I make burgers once a week and the occasional small family do. Take it out on day trips sometimes as well. Wouldn't work for fancy cooking or large parties but it does the job for me. It comes with a carry bag, it can be used with propane but I never tried that.

Since my partner loves to repair "things"-I still have the grill he bought "us" for the 10th wedding anniversary. So I have a grill from 1997 that works. Remember, I will never ever get anything new in my life. :( I really want a blackstone grill but know it will never happen.

My plans for today were to run around the house naked and do nothing but perhaps buy a Pico Squeeze II...

However I was joking to my husband and said that the second I do that his mom is going to show up unannounced and I'll be scrambling to dress and such - and sure enough 5 minutes later the church house parking lot started filling up there at the bottom of the hill - which is the church his mom attends... lol. (this is the house his mom grew up in, and they went to that church all their lives)

So we are figuring she'll come up after the church meeting is over, so I'm showering, dressing, and making sure the house is clean for company..

pretend this is what we always look like, whether expecting people or not... haha haha
    That's great.
If you're going to run around the house naked, then you should definitely buy the Squeeze.
Or if you're short on cash, I can offer a free squeeze.

Normally, I wouldn't be that interested but I am trying to create the perfect french toast recipe... that might fit right in (can you tell me specifically which brand/flavor that is?)

    It's Flavorart.

I like my grill the best. No fancy grill gonna do any better. ;) They still sell them, in case anyone is looking for one. It's the high end dual purpose Lounge-O-Matic 6000 grill. Just don't use it as a chair too soon after grillin'. :D

BTW, they do sell several optional accessories.

    Morning all....

Added a little bit of pralines and cream to a tank of my milkshake base and it's really good but needs a bit more sweetness....maybe some sweet cream or meringue?? Or I could just add a sweet fruit...pretty much any fruit will go with hazelnuts I'm thinking.

I'm trying to de sweeten myself... as we all know I don't need any extra really :pervy:

Have a good day everyone

    What if I'm anti-mixing (gasp)?

So I usually vape unflavored, because it reduces the chemical count, but I wouldn't mind a single-flavoring once in a while, like for 1 small tank full. Maybe dedicate a tank or coil to it.

Are there single flavorings that are any good? I know, I know...."depends on what you like". But I'm thinking just something simple, a good berry or a good mint or maybe a sour. IDK. And from whom?

Good morning. No big plans today. I’m not really into fireworks since the kids are grown and gone. We used to go buy a bunch every year and light them in the driveway. The neighbors a few houses down always have a big get together and light them all night. No need to go anywhere. Just sit out front and watch them.

    Think I'll keep my Weber:)
I have one, it's fine. Does everything, costs 100 bucks ish, and gets replaced if ever needed to, cheap. Can do grilling, and smoking too.

Gave my barrel smoker away when I moved. Too much to haul around and store, was sitting outside (covered) and just mostly sits. So bye.

Traeger...looks like a smoker-oven, not really a searing-grill. So IDK how you sear a steak on it. It sure looks nice with even heat, smoke flavor, and sliding grill grades. Not dissing it, it is what it is. But I don't think you can sear on it easily, or maybe it's just automagic that things will get brown bits.

Haven't used a gas grill in 12-ish years, except at get-togethers where I help set up or cook. But I'm not sure I miss it; it IS very convenient though. Wheel it out, start it up, cook and post-heat, and roll it back away. I'd have to keep the Weber though, to smoke things occasionally, since I'd dedicate that to smoking and keep the gas grill nicer and not coated with smoke residue.

    Good morning ladies and gentlemen,
are not the big plans in southern Norway, I will look at TdF, and later work with links to Zazie's blog if I am told which part I will take care of.

@hittman , MTL vape, Zenith Pro vs Zenith II, is the new one so much better that it's worth the upgrade?
