I was on the way to work this morning and somehow what looked like a rail car container was sitting sideways blocking both lanes on the small highway I take to work. Everyone had to quick get over and take the exit before it.
So it was "between here and there"? Bummer. ;) :p

    Do you mean the droppers?
Well, yes, the glass part of the dropper lid. Can't seem to get it out of lid part. And do you clean the rubber top lids. Mine came all dusty. And how often do you wash the glass bottles. I'm wondering if I can soak the lids, rubber and all, in vinegar for a bit then rinse thoroughly or is there an easier way. So 2 questions. Getting glass part of dropper out and cleaning rubber lids.

Over the years I've vaped, I've tried to buy authentic. It just seems right to reward the creator of a good product, instead of benefiting a reverse engineer. But, that's been argued over the years, so no point in doing it again here.
I agree with you. I'm guided by my ethics. If I like a Chevy then I buy the authentic. It's not my business if the person next to me decides to buy the Chevy clone. If they are happy, perfect, the river continues to flow either way.

But, I'd like to understand, given that the authentic is not cheap, why you piffed the clones.
Maybe I wasn't clear in my post. I have several authentic Dvarw's and also had some Dvarw clones. Those are the ones I gave away. Those were cheap versus the authentic's. Those who received them were super happy. In turn, happiness found me. The wheel turns.

And, do you think the dvarw is that much better than, for example, a Berserker, which I'm pulling on at the moment?
Honestly, that question cannot be answered by me. My brother had a Berserker. We both tried it and felt it didn't offer the same quality of vape or flavor as the other RTA's we prefer. He gave it away.

I know full well that those who love their Berserker's feel it offers a quality vape with great flavor. That's awesome. They like what they like.

Only thing I would offer is if one isn't happy with the RTA(s) they have, or is still looking for their Unicorn, then perhaps try another RTA. Like a Dvarw, Kayfun, Tripod, or whatever, etc. etc..

And, I'm asking just for information, not as a criticism ...
I understand why you are asking.

... since I have several fancy Greek made mechs which cost a goodly amount and no longer use. Any takers for them?
Maybe try posting those in the classifieds??? I do suspect that those will fetch more further down the line. But then again, someone might be searching for exactly what you have today.

    Are they GG's?

    :)

I never take the droppers apart. Generally, I let them soak awhile in a little dish soap and rinse well with hot water.

@Katmar - I agree with Fran about washing your dropper bottle lids and the glass pipette that comes attached to the lid...with just mild dish liquid if anything other than warm water. Using vinegar will slowly degrade the rubber that the squeeze bulb is made of. I'd highly recommend not using it to clean them.

I'd also leave the cap and dropper attached while cleaning them. If/when you separate those parts....you'll likely never get them back to the way they were, with a real good connection like they come with. You'll get air leaks (between the cap and dropper), which will cause air bubbles in the glass dropper part when you draw liquid up in them.

Our AC went out again - this is typical of the kind of repair places the warranty company sends us. Happens every time. This time the guy got a check from my wife for $600 for the freon and ran straight to the bank with it! What kind of business does that? So no air yesterday or now and it was 118 again with today supposed to be around 121! Killer heat and we get the keystone cops or Three Stooges fixing our AC. 87 in the house now.
Don't you have friends, or cool neighbors, that you can ask who the good, and honest, repair folks are in LV? They are there, you just need to look around, and ask questions, lots if need be. IMO those home warranty places are a total ripoff. They don't care if the repair person rips you off.

You need a repair guy that will fix the problem instead of just adding more freon. Also that idiot owes you $600.
Several years ago our central AC stopped working. We have several friends in the various trades. Our AC friend replaced the capacitor and only charged us for the part. IIRC it was around $25-$30 bucks. We also gave him a 12 pack of beer. AC has been working fine since. And he taught me how to replace the capacitor. Pretty easy job.

Not everyone is lucky enough to have friends like that.

So I bought the amber 60ml bottles. Washed several in dishwasher. AS many as I need for now anyway. But, having a hard time getting the pipette out of lid.
What is the EASIEST method of cleaning these things. So many suggestions on the internet, but I'm looking for an easy but good way. Also, how often do you wash them?
Thanks ahead of time from Dumb Dumb Kat :w00t:
That's why I prefer regular caps and separate pipettes to dropper caps. To clean a pipette, all I have to do is pull off the rubber bulb.

This is no help to you at all, is it? Sorry.

The more reviews I read on YouTube, the more convinced I've become in thinking the vast majority are shills for the product they are reviewing.
I greatly appreciate the reviewers on this forum that are honest and tell it like it is.
There are way too many YouTube reviews where the reviewer is 100% positive about every single product they review. I question those.

Not long ago I watched a Jai Haze video. He was attempting to explain what capillary action is with wicking. It was pretty funny. His claim was that capillary action doesn't happen in RTA's because the "cotton is just there". He went on to say capillary action only happens in RDA's. Jai really didn't know what he was talking about.

Jai Haze is one of those reviewers people either love, or love to hate. He does have some good reviews. Personally, I think he's funny. I take most YT reviews with a grain of salt.

Like you, I prefer folks reviews here and ECF word of mouth about good products.

It may be in the future. Thank you! I can see WHY you prefer it that way now. Hindsight! :w00t:

    Happy Saturday soulful stirrers :)

Looking to move into the low/mid 80s here, and for the next week. Warmer than normal still, but at least we are dropping into the 50s overnight, so we can pull the house temp back down in the morning.

Looks like more weed whacking on my agenda, before it gets hot.

I’d call the warranty company and tell them that if they don’t get someone there to fix it right that I was hiring a lawyer to sue for pain and suffering.

Aw man! It is a closed system like hitt said and if freon leaks out you have a leak that needs repaired. I have heard nothing but bad things about home warranty companies. Did you also have to pay for a site visit? Plus you pay for the warranty, and you paid for freon. Just seems like you could come out better and cheaper without a home warranty. And they send subpar companies.

I agree. I’ve heard nothing but bad stuff about those warranty companies. A guy I deal with through my work tried talking me into it. No thanks! My furnace and ac lasted 20 years on the first set with minor repairs that I did some of myself. We got both new for 6200 last year. Never a dime to a warranty company and maybe 500 total to hvac company to replace the circuit board in the furnace.
