I never got around to trying waffles vanilla today. The scientific Fig Newton research, excursion and mixing put waffles on the back burner. Another day steeping won't hurt. :)
That’s ok, because I’m too tired now to tackle making an order. I would like to get it if it’s a winner though. Waffle seems to be a tough one for them to accurately create

Enjoy that BBQ. I have had crawfish here in NWArk....nothing like NOLA though.
We call northern La. “South Arkansas”. Terrain, food, culture etc is more y’all than kooky nola or cajun/creole.
TY for reminding me about the butter rum. I’ve been meaning to get it

I was going to keep my mouth shut, but I just can't any longer.

Let me first say that I'm not "sticking up" for Vaper1960. I don't know what really takes place at his house, what his Mom will or won't let him do for her, nor the type or extent of his mother's dementia and how those things affect their interractions.

However, I'm certain that no one knows what it's truly like...living with, loving, and honestly trying to help, an elderly parent who has dementia or Alzheimer's...until they've been there, done that. IF the parent is still physically mobile and able to do things for themselves...it's common for them to resent it and/or even get very angry...if anyone else does those things for them, or at times even offers to! It's seen by the parent as trying to take away some of what little control they still have left over their lives. Having their finances taken care of for them and driving them everywhere...are 2 of the most difficult for them to deal with. It's also often the person who's closest to them physically and emotionally, who's helping them the most, or trying to...who catches the brunt of their frustrations, anger, accusations, outbursts, etc. Like I said earlier...no one knows until they've been there, done that.

IMO, sometimes people "open up" here about things that maybe they shouldn't...because it's usually a given that it'll result in a variety of responses, whether they're wanted ones or not. Also, sometimes it's just TMI. I can think of a past member right away, about that. But, if there are no close friends, family, or other people...the poster feels comfortable telling about it............;) It seems to be sort of a catch-22.
very eloquently said @JCinFLA

you chick, are a class act. I am always glad when you speak up.
There are haters (usually miserable in their own life no matter the facade of love, laughter and light they portray) and then there are the right-on folks that ignore another's inadequacies and treat others the way they want to be treated. They give peeps the benefit of the doubt because let's face it, it is never right, as a grown-up, to bully another, have fun at another's expense or belittle anyone. I am sorry that all folks were not taught that but I am super proud of the ones that practice it.

I still haven’t gotten around to trying most of the new FA flavors I got. I want to try that vanilla cookie. Not sure if I should do a sft or mix something with it.
I just dove in and started mixing with it.

Finally I can relax, it took many many months before I got hold of those chambers, I needed one, but after all the stress of getting hold of them, I just as well bought three pieces. Next time Øsa pulls me over the edge, at least I have someone in reserve!
Bought some relatively rare drip tips as well. Alexander from svoemesto was very helpful and found three [lite] SE drip tips in Nite DLC, I paid for one though.

That is some serious Vape porn.

Well it sure looks like things got a little heated this afternoon on the thread. I hope everyone is doing better now.

I spent much of the evening putting out mulch in my yard. It was a pretty nice and relatively cool evening to do it. Now I am drinking some iced red tea and listening to some music.

Hey skeebro... hope you guys are doing well (my last post on this thread but honestly meant that)
Vaper, c'mon over to the shiny-itis thread. There might be a small mind or two over there but for the most part people act right and do not get their kicks from trying to hurt others

Was it you that said that Bull City pulled some of the new FA flavors from their site? I seem to recall someone posting that they had the new flavors but then took several of them away.

Yes. They pulled Vanilla Cookie, Amarula and Custard 1. Flavour Art North America had them pull those. Flavour Art will not allow the sales of any of their flavors with diacetyl in the US.

The only places I know of that you can get those and a couple other new ones are Chef's and Nom Nomz.

That's right, now I remember it had something to do with the diacetyl. I won't be flavor shopping for a while, but I will keep the Vanilla Cookie in mind for later. I might like it.

    Somewhere between here and there

It’s just as easy to build a list and order from chefs or nomnomz. It just takes a little longer to arrive.
