I love my vanillas and have most of the vanilla flavors. I combine different vanillas all the time. This morning I was testing SSA Madagascar Vanilla in a very simple mix with FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic). I use the FA a lot. I know FA Madagascar very well so it was pretty easy for me to learn what SSA Madagascar brought to the mix.

The SSA is a more complex Madagascar vanilla. Earthy. It brought deeper and richer vanilla notes. It's creamy and full bodied.

The two Madagascar's pair nicely together. :)

What coils are you using?
I think it’s a 2.5 ss, @ 0.5 ohms? Rayon. It’s a lovely, smooth vape. The mtl/fl has more flavor, but I can’t get past the tightness. I hope once the af inserts get here, I can get it dialed in. The dl/fl with the 2.5 insert is close, but too airy. I won’t concede defeat until after I can try it with inserts, as for me flavor and the right af go hand in hand

Hi Charlie,
Best of luck with doctors appointments. Hope it's all good for you.

Morning DIYers.....have a great day and stay cool....another hot and humid one most everywhere in the US. Just gotta deal with it. I feel bad for landscapers, roofers, any outdoor workers on days like these. I just don't know how they do it, but they do. Total respect there.
Me too. Our a/c guys were in the attic this morning fixing the unit. They looked swampy when they came down. But, I finally have a/c again after a week! Waiting on solar guys to get back from lunch to replace a couple panels. I really feel sorry for them, I have a dark grey roof. At least it’s overcast today.

Somehow, Himself managed to let a bird in the house this morning. I can’t figure out how. We have a screen porch between us and the wilderness. Freed the beastie, ran to the grocery between repairmen.

I have no problem with vanillas. I do have several and they certainly have their place in many recipes. I do still prefer my creams usually.

Good luck with the Mousse. I'm not sure on it showing up so good in a cake but maybe. I have never tasted that chocolate so good till I put it in my Ice Cream base.
If I can get rid of the repairmen, I want to mix your ic base and at least the chocolate variation.

@FranC , hope you see this on tracking soon. Their translation for “delivered” gave me a chuckle

About a month ago Carli dog and Angel cat were in the basement rustling about and making noise. Odd. So I went down to see what they were up to. It was then I heard a bird chirping in the chimney. For real! I was like "what dumb bird would head down my chimney". It has a cap on it.

I got Carli and Angel upstairs. I made sure it was dark in my basement and had the back door open allowing plenty of light to flow down the stairs. I opened the chimney door for the bird to hopefully fly out. It flew and followed the light up the stairs and out the door. Bird saved. :thumb:

I mixed the little chocolate version with my steeped ice cream base. I liked it so much I vaped the whole 15ml I mixed.

I love pineapple as food, did try mixing with it way back. Problem was I mixed with syringes back then and it killed syringes. I would suck it up into the syringe but it would immediately melt the rubber tip before I could push it out. Tried dripping it into a syringe and doing it without the plunger but it was a very harsh vape. Later on I found out people who used it were going with a much lower % than I used. Maybe one of these days.
I use a glass graduated cylinder beaker thing for measuring now. I think I got it at Nic River. It measures by the ml

Mine was a not so intelligent wren. Locked up the dogs, opened all the doors. Little bugger flew past them every freaking time. Finally he got tired enough for me to pick him up and take him outside.

I’m definitely mixing it then. Hopefully the house will have cooled down by the time the solar guys are done. Having the house this warm hasn’t made me very productive. I need to narrow down a couple other recipes to add to the “mix” pile. I have JF pomegranate/orange coming in my order. Nothing I can find about it, anf I haven’t used any of their flavors before. I can always use it in sparkling water if need be. That’s what I get for ordering from my phone.
