View attachment 774769 I tested the Cheesecake mix after it’s been steeping about 2 weeks. It doesn’t taste much like any cheesecake I’ve ever had but it’s nice nonetheless. I know the NY Cheesecake needs several weeks of steeping so I’ll put it back in the closet.

I have to get off my .... this weekend and make another custard base otherwise I’ll be out before it’s had a chance to steep. I vape my Lemon Custard every night when I’m watching tv in bed.

I’m happy with my Baked Apple Tart though. I may add a bit more apple or a different apple but it’s a very nice and “comforting” vape. I’ll include the recipe here if anyone has a suggestion or wants to try it. I use high flavor percentages so adjust to your own preferences.
LOL,I couldn't vape anywhere near that much flavor but I'm glad you like it:) I also can't taste apple.

    It's pretty tasty

    BRIE MOUSSE
    FLV Brie .75%
    VT Chocolate Mousse 2%
    FA Cookie .5%
    FA Fresh Cream 1%

I don't have the Brie (yet) but I may mix this without it this weekend if I can. It sounds good with the cookie and cream too.

Hopefully someday my taste buds will be more sensitive. I’m just the opposite with percentages. Anything under 10% I can’t taste hardly at all!! I try to stay around 15-20%. Try lol !!

Whatever works for you is good:) I used to vape fairly high percentages when I first started mixing. I had to lower over time but in the last year I've really had to seriously lower. I rarely mix anything over 10% anymore.

When I started DIY I used high flavoring percentages too, especially when using TFA or CAP (thank you Magic Bill). Then I tried several FA flavors and was happy at a much lower percentage. Other brands have come out since then (VTA, FLV) and those tend to be lower percentages too. The concentrate and flavor make a big difference.

If you're happy with high percentages, go for it. That's the fun of DIY. Like the old commercial - Have it your way!

How long was it before you started to reduce flavoring. I know everyone’s different but I’m just curious.

Nobody mixing today or finding new flavors? Trying new mixes?

I'm still vaping my Brie Mousse. Pretty tasty.

Working on a Chocolate/Peanut Butter Graham Cracker.
I'm not much of a mixer. Just keep it pretty basic, but I love reading this thread to see what creative concoctions you guys brew up. I did mix a batch of coconut (6%) and banana (2%) last night. Still haven't tried it. Sounded good at the time, but seeing it spelled out there, I'm not so confident about it.

I mostly vape one- or two-flavor mixes at low percentages. I do have quite a few that I like, so I don't get really bored.

Depends on the brand of coconut you used 6% sounds a little high. Was it the coconut extra from TFA?

    :)

Not the extra. Just regular TFA coconut. My plan was to use it 3 to 1 against the ripe banana since that tends to overwhelm other, weaker flavors. Could be terrible, but I won't be upset. I was a little disappointed in the coconut as a single flavor and just took a shot at finding something to use with it.

Coconut is a tough flavor to master. You may want to take a couple mls of your already mixed recipe and put into another bottle and add some base to it. It does much better at lower rates. So if you add 2mls of mixed flavor and add 2 mls of base that halves it. Some coconuts need a steep also so give it a couple of days or 3. LOL

My biggest disappointment is that I don't really taste much coconut in the TFA flavor when I try it as a standalone. Maybe more steeping would have helped.
Did you try it as a standalone @6%? In DIY more flavorings mutes the taste. Less is always more tasteful. I know it sounds counter productive but it isn't. Using only 2ml of your already mixed recipe isn't a lot to test it on, is it? Give it a try. And if it does not work for you, then please except my apologies. I am hoping you will be surprised.

    :)

Oh, I'm definitely going to try it after letting it steep another day or two. When I mixed it as a standalone, it was 5 percent. That's my usual for most flavors. I just found it too sweet with not nearly enough coconut taste.

Thanks for the recommendation. Nothing ventured nothing gained, so no big deal if I don't like it. I have lots of other flavors I do like.

Still vaping my Brie Mousse this morning. I'm going to have to force myself to change mixes when one of my tanks is empty. Otherwise I end up with too many filled tanks.I don't like to do that cause I end up ignoring them and then forgetting with's in them. Having just one extra filled tank isn't bad. I might do that so I can move on trying mixes.

You should start looking for that apartment right away though I think.

Apartment! Rented! Moving this weekend! (Fortunately it's a "soft" move, I will be back on weekends but this one will not be fun. I wouldn't even be on here except a) have to take my meds and b) I don't want to wake the husband. I mean, worst case I get up there with an air mattress, meds for the week and I buy food Monday night or something. I don't care.

Total dive, but roaches (which I did not see but you know, you DON'T, I don't even care. This was the kind of week that ages you permanently. Which totally is not great, but I'm just trying not to think about ANYTHING until I take my meds wake up and the husband gets up and then I will PANIC but in no way comparable to how I was panicking BEFORE.

I was literally getting up at 4:45 a.m. every day, gazing into space as I swilled coffee, and praying non stop during the drives.

This was the kind of week that ages you-- permanently. Glad I did a bunch of mixing things are going to be super pared down for a while here. It's been hard to change wicks when I get home, every moment when I arrive has been Oh My What is Next for tomorrow.

    Snus, working beautifully.
