Morning everyone

Early morning here as usual when I post. Tea tastes good :)
Coffee later! Friends coming around for lunch today so that'll be nice.

On the mixing front still vaping away on my latest mixes and no plans to do more today. @FranC sorry that you didn't like the alpine strawberry.... probably my fault for suggesting it  If it's any use mine strawberry ice-cream (your base) has mellowed quite a lot although I did mix mine with some FA meringue for some sweetness. I know you dislike sweet so I was convinced you'd like it....oh well we're all different

Have a good day everyone

The storm petered out and lost its oomph once it got closer to the wall of cold known as Lake Michigan. Had buckets of rain. Lightning show was cool. Thunder was awesome. Carli dog and I sat on the couch in front of the picture window and watched.

Awwh, sounds just lovely!

I was a day behind when I asked about Anna… in case I don’t get through today’s posts before bed, we’re heading back to NOLA tomorrow morning. Hoping electricity won’t be out for too long after we get back. Honestly, don’t want to go back yet. But, Himself has work. Today was buying groceries to haul back since everything is in short supply at home. If I have decent cell service, I’ll catch up tomorrow night. If not, save me all the good recipes!

Gosh, hope you got all the groceries you needed, good luck with all!

Good morning folks,
my big mixing day is a bit reduced, it turned out that I did not have VTA Pudding Base. Well, I get to order some different VTA Bases.
However, these came today:

And, I think Steelabs is starting to bring in things I need, so it's probably approaching some action.
In the meantime, I can measure and design a frame for the usb charger.

It's September 9th, it was a year done, in fact a fairly simple year.

I am a bit late to the party here but ... go you! Congratulations to you
Tor, nothing as special as that first anniversary, it's HUGE!
Well done.

I think Alpine Strawberry is one of those that you either like or you don't.

My favorite strawberries are FA Red Touch (Strawberry), FA Juicy Strawberry, INW Shisha Strawberry and MF Strawberry. Combining any of those makes a nice pleasing strawberry.
I was kind of surprised that I didn’t like it.

That’s ok, Charlie. Definitely not your fault.

Was really nice weather around here, for three days, wonderful in fact. :thumb:

It’s been really pretty nice here too. Yesterday was a little warm but not bad. It sure beat the 95-100 we had a week or two ago.

    Morning, mixers.

Overcast, sun out later. No rain. But increasing rumors of such. But we do seem to be past all the ridiculously high temps :)

Plans... well, doh, football :) Morning game, watering later.

Not that I'm expecting it anytime soon, but, does Brunhilde arrive clean or do I need to wash/soak to get machining oil off it?

Can't speak to those, but I wash all new tanks / toppers. They might look very clean, but...

Morning folks. I slept in to 8am this morning. That almost never happens for me.

I did the same thing today. Friday night I stayed up too late and then got up at 5 yesterday so think I needed to catch up.

Peeking in here before I start posting today. Wanna make sure the weather is crystal clear before taking flight... hmmm, looks clear... let's roll then.

    Good morning :)

A new NFL football season kicks off today. My GB Packers play at the NO Saints in the FOX late game. Two good teams, will be fun, however it turns out.

Got a late start to the day, was up much later than usual. Carli dog and I got our longer than normal walk in. One mighty strong cup a Joe did it's thing, all neutrons firing in sync.

Laundry is getting it's clean on. I'm gonna be lazy the rest of the day, within reason.

I made it back from Charleston. Love that place, although I only hung out in the old town touristy part. We stay at a hotel which used to be a warehouse, then condos, then a hotel. Huge odd shaped rooms with massive wooden ceiling beams and brick walls. Really nice breakfast and evening snacks with wine. The only Covid change was no room service, if you wanted fresh sheets or towels and so forth you could request them. My favorite seafood restaurant was just down the road.

I packed 7 vapes. 4 flavors, each with a 100ml bottle and a 15ml dropper bottle. Never had to get into the big bottles but it's nice not to have to worry about running out. Our room was right by the exit so just a short walk to vape. We were there 3 years ago and vaped in the room. The rooms have slanted ceilings, at a guess around 13ft high on one side up to 15ft on the other side. There were sprinklers but only one smoke detector on the high part of the ceiling at one end, and in a part of the ceiling space that was separated from the rest by an enclosed area over the bathroom containing the mechanical systems. No way you could set it off by vaping. Guess I'm a bit less of an addict these days though so going outside was fine. There was a time when I worried a lot about vaping when I went on a trip.
Glad you had a nice time.:)

I didn't get any mixing done this weekend, but I only work 2 days next week then 5 off so heavy mixing will be accomplished at some point.
I have been vaping on sfts of CAP Churro and CNV Donut back and forth in an RDA. I like both of them ok. They both seem a little sweet, the churro a little more so. I do not get cinnamon from the churro, which is ok.
Churro at 3.5% has a heavy fried flavor and almost a heavy vanilla Custard flavor that is what I think of as a churro, I've only had them a few times.
The CNV Donut at 5% is a little lighter on fry flavor but it is present, and I would say they captured a plain cake Donut pretty well, brown fried outside, cake Donut inside. I can't tell if there is something else there like a frosting, glaze, sprinkles. I kinda think there might be sprinkles...
