Correct me if I'm wrong but Custard tends to be lighter in the US? And I know everyone here likes there forward fruit top note. My custards are heavy and the idea has always been to mimic adding a spoon of jam to the custard so never forward in the mix....I don't think that would work for me....or in a heavy custard....just my two cents.

Yes. Custards in the US are a sweet mixture (eggs, sugar, and milk or cream). It is creamy like a pudding, but even thicker. American puddings are closer to what the Brits would call "custard."

I prefer my mixes to be similar to food recipes in real life. IMO, there is no real difference between baking IRL and mixing eliquids. We're dealing with flavor, same as real life food. I like to taste the base in a mix. For me, fruits should sit, and be experienced, just behind a base. In the bakery I've enjoyed the most any fruit in them is not out front and in your face.

Some prefer otherwise, and therein lies the beauty of DIY.

I have tried compote cherry-ssa- in a few mixes, good but strong, use sparingly.
I don't have juicy cherries-ssa, but it's on my list.
I have cherries-inw-which I like.

Right now, a cup of coffee + vape. And it is Sunday, so chillin'.

Oh yeah, I would like to complete my BCF order today.

I’m going to go downstairs and attempt to put away my last three flavor orders and hope that I don’t have to start a new case. I’ve got a dull headache for some reason but it’s manageable. I may take some excedrin anyway.

I guess I should look up Fran’s custard base and mix it to try. I think I might give the dinner lady tart a break and put something else in one of my Dvarws.

I just loaded a tank with SMT’s croissant base with .5 ssa guava. It’s really good. The guava is making the mascarpone pop more than just when I use the base alone. As soon as my Dvarw dries I’m going to fill it with his pudding base #2 with two raspberry flavors added. I’ve been in a bit of a rut vaping the same flavors over and over. The guava is a nice change.

I’m using the LMN# that I use a lot for testing. Maybe I should turn it down. I’m running 40 watts trying to reach the recommended range for that coil which is 45-60 if I remember correctly.

I've got the 510 adapter in and it's punchy enough at 25watts. I never believe the suggested wattages.... they're like... here's how to burn your coil out as quickly as possible

I hardly ever mixed recipes with custards until I really started looking at your recipes. You got me into mixing with custard and I thank you for that even though I like my custard lighter.

I finally mixed one recipe. I made Fran’s ice cream base. It’s very good although my wonky taste buds probably need me to bump up the percentages slightly. I put a couple of drops of CAP peaches and cream in my tank with it while watching football last night and it was very good.

I love CAP peaches and cream.
