FE Green Tea - SFT

"A true green tea should be grassy, vegetal, nutty, or herbaceous, but never bitter. Mild with undercurrents of lemon citrus and a slight earthy taste. Freshens the olfactory senses."

My results:

0.3% (2 drops / 10mls):

It's a pleasant, but delicate, green tea, mild with a slight earthiness. Herbaceous but no sickly grassy taste. It totally freshens the olfactory senses. It has a light lingering flavor of green tea just as there is when drinking a decent green tea. There is a very light lemon citrus undercurrent (very delicate). FE Green Tea has no bitterness or off flavors.

@Katya, knowing you vape mainly flavorless 0.3% would be a good starting point. I really do think you will like this green tea. It's good!

0.6% (3 drops / 10mls):

I doubled the percentage to push the green tea flavor a bit further. I was going for a bolder green tea. My results are the same as 0.3%. There is more green tea flavor at 0.6%. It is still a delicate green tea and very pleasing.

I tested this MTL 12w - 22w. 18w -20w is where I got the best flavor.

I prepared myself for this with some Twinings London green tea. I made certain I had no lingering tea flavor on my palate before vaping the FE Green Tea. In my opinion FE did an excellent job of creating a true green tea flavor. I do like this as a single flavor. It's tasty.

A fruit will add another dimension and boost the overall complexity. Green teas are 'delicate' by nature. With that in mind going with a lighter tasting fruit, and using it with a pretty light touch, the green tea will hold it's own.

So, what would I recommend for %'s?

- Start with 0.3% (2 drops/10mls - 6 drops/30mls). At 0.3% you will get a very pleasing green tea flavor. Delicate.

- For a slightly bolder green tea go with 0.6% (3 drops/10mls - 9 drops/30mls). You will get the same pleasing green tea flavor simply kicked up a notch.

I am confident it could be pushed to 0.9% (4 drops/10mls) or even 1.2% (5 drops/10mls) without losing what a green tea is supposed to be. The green tea will be bolder and those percents may prove to be best with certain fruits. At some point in the future I'll likely push it to see how far it can go before it changes from a green tea to something "other".

Note: At the percents I used this does not require more than a day steep time. I gave it about 18 hours to blend with my nic base. IMO, at these percents it is truly a shake n vape flavor.

I bought FE Green tea some time back to make this recipe after buying the FA Milk. Probably my favorite green tea recipe so far.

Green Tea Latte
1% (FE) Green Tea
2% (FA) Kiwi
1.25% (FA) Milk
3% (CAP) Vanilla Whipped Cream
Total flavoring: 7.25% Steep Days 3 (SNV)
Jade

I bought the OOO Creamy Yogurt Cheesecake too. I don't have the OOO Vanilla Pudding yet. Just ordered it last night.

With a pudding base I am trying to avoid the snak-pak pudding taste. :D My hope is that the OOO will help in making a decent pudding base. The VT Pudding Base is, IMO, just basic pudding ingredients requiring the help of other flavors in order to make a decent pudding.

In my last pudding base I used FA Custard Premium. It added a light but pleasing custard note. That base is being reworked atm.

They have so many flavors that I must have missed the OOO Cereal Baked Honey Oats. Have you tried it or the CNV Corn Flakes?
Nope. Those are wild cards. I can’t recall which, but one was described as Cereal 27 minus AP. Hoping for a good bakery booster.

Better than TFA Green or you have not tried that?

I like VTA Chocolate Mousse. It's a smooth chocolate flavor. When used 2% or less I don't get anything like a tootsie roll flavor. IMO, it leans more towards a darker chocolate but it is not at all a true dark chocolate.

If you like dark chocolate I would suggest VTA Dark Chocolate. It is a true dark chocolate (again 2% or less). Very good and flavorful.

I think VTA (Vape Train Australia) has the best chocolate flavors. They have quite a few. BCF carries VTA flavors. :)
Those would be the same suggestions I give except I don’t get dark chocolate from the mousse.

I haven't tried TFA green tea. When I was originally looking at which green tea to buy some folks said the FE was better than the TFA. Don't remember where I read that. Probably was the ELR forum.

I did order SSA green tea yesterday from BCF. Will be very interested in seeing how it compares to the FE. If it's good I will do a mix combining the SSA and FE.

I’ve never mixed a lot of green. Was thinking perhaps I would if I had a better one.

    @Zazie

I’m vaping a simple Grapefruit Yogurt that’s just hitting the spot for something tasty and different. No, it isn’t tart, just low sweetness.

    Grapefruit Yogurt
    FW Yogurt 6%
    FLV Pink Guava 1%
    FA Grapefruit .75%

Thank you. That looks good. I just read MaxSavage's recipe notes on ATF. Do you still taste the green tea with the other flavors? If so, it's good to know FE green tea holds its own.

I really like FE green tea and have been vaping it much of the day. Still need to add a little FA Pear to this one. Earlier I looked up green tea ideas. It seems like many more fruits can be used with green tea versus black tea.

A few that interest me are a guava green tea, peach gt, apricot gt and strawberry gt. Those are pretty popular. There is even a green tea ice cream, matcha aisu, a Japanese ice cream flavor. It's popular in Japan and other parts of East Asia. There are also green tea yogurts. Green tea cookies and cakes too. Some green tea smoothie's that look really good.

Hi mixers, hope you are all staying safe up there!

OK now surely I can't be the only mixer who enjoys a single shot, straight STRAWBERRY flavour!

Please reply with your favourite brand, have looked through my stash...OMG I have so many Strawberry flavours...like it quite sweet, previously bought Jam Monster Strawberry commercial but looking through my stash...it's ridiculous, too many flavours. too much PG/VG and far too much Nic...help LOL.
For a single flavor strawberry it's pretty tough to beat MF (Medicine Flower) Strawberry. IMO she is the Queen of strawberry flavors. On its own, I think it is the most realistic tasting strawberry flavor around. It reminds me of eating the fresh strawberries they sell on the sides of the road in California.

Like you I have many strawberry flavors. After MF strawberry I would have to go with a combo of FA strawberry and FA Juicy strawberry. Together they are really good.

Those are my favorite strawberry flavors.

ETA: Here is a link for MF Strawberry. Strawberry Flavor - Premium
If you get it 2% is a good starting percentage for a single flavor mix. Most of the MF flavors are ultra concentrates using 0.5%-1%. A couple require more, like the strawberry.

I know you asked SMT but to my taste a lot better. Much less grassy/earthy/dirty with out the astringent/bitterness that TFA has. More a good correctly brewed green tea leaning toward matcha in flavor.

How about a big HOORAY for making it to another Friday. I'm looking forward to my three day weekend. My youngest is coming home today and bringing the puppy.
Guess this calls for a big...

    HOORAY

Bringing the puppy, that sounds like a lot of fun to me. It will be a blast. Hope she brings some chewy toys. Does she have the pup potty trained yet?

Other teas I like so far we're OOO, black tea, white tea and milk tea and FLV lemon tea.

The new plan is to grocery shop today, leaving Sunday open for apple picking. Some things are needed at the store anyway for the birthday party tomorrow. (One of my older gd’s).
I was going to run some errands earlier but just as I was pulling out of the driveway DHL pulled up with a package from Australia. Errands cancelled!!! I've been looking forward to this package for 3 days.

I'm not sure if he's fully potty trained or not. She only had him two days when she came home last time and he wasn't although you could tell when he needed to go out. I'm looking forward to seeing the puppy. Our dog is 9 now and I love her but puppies are so much fun. Our dog didn't really think he was that much fun the last time though. Hopefully she is better with him this time. Not aggressive but growled at him several times.
