I mixed a sft of the shortbread this past weekend. I have no idea if it needs a long steep.

I could taste the flavor when putting a drop on my finger, but it disappeared in the tank. So naturally I just thought I needed more flavoring.....nope, still did not work. I even put it in a recipe(not ceecee's) and could taste all other ingredients but the cc. Finally just said forget it.

I don’t know why I keep buying them. I like my blend of Cap and graham. People had said the yes, we cc had cream cheese, but since y’all didn’t find that, I’m doubtful. I’m going to break with “tradition” and do sft tests for the OOO and the Yes we cc. Since neither appear to be cc winners, at least that will tell me what I could use them as a sub for in a pinch.
I was only able to find one detailed review (it was on Reddit). According to that reviewer, the majority of change, is done after the first week. So, it may not require too much time.

Thanks Joel. It will be a little over a week this weekend so I’ll give it a try.
