I slept late expecting to not feel good after the shot but think I feel ok. I drank a lot of water before and after the shot and took a couple advil last night just in case.
I slept late. I made the honeycomb custard and it’s just so so. I’ll give it a few days. I used up the CAP vanilla custard so it came off my stash. Considering I have four remaining vanilla custards from other brands it will not be repurchased. One down!
Today I wash my car and whatever else I can get done before the two championship football games this afternoon. We took back one of my son’s gifts yesterday and went to two other stores. Since my bedtime is 9:30 I doubt I can make it to midnight to ring in the New Year.

I always try to stay up but usually can't make it. I love to watch the fireworks at the Seattle Space Needle, it is spectacular. Now that I don't have live TV, guess that won't happen.
I’m hoping the wife doesn’t want to go to her friends tonight. They were undecided what they wanted to do. I know they are vaccinated but would prefer not to get together.

Since I go to bed at 9:30 and I’m up for work at 5:15 am, it’s ingrained in me so it’s hard to stay up. And the cat lets me know it’s bedtime too. Very obnoxiously.
I guess I’m just getting old…and fireworks have never been my thing. I suppose the neighborhood will be erupting tonight so we may all stay up late…

Yes, they do a pretty good job. I usually dvr the show, haven't stayed up for many years. The NYC ball drop is on at 9 pm here, so I sometimes watch part of that. Otherwise, just another day, and a new calendar page.
