I really doubt it. He has been really hardcore against the vaccine the whole time.

I usually avoid saying this when it comes to personal choices- but they're just being - "STUPID" - especially after going though what they have already . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Very simple recipe in keeping with the KISS principle. :D @Zazie, please and TIA. :)

Chocolate Milkshake

MB Milkshake 3.5%
VTA Milkshake Base 0.5%
VTA Chocolate Mousse 2%
VTA Chocolate Base 1.5%

I steeped it for 30 days. YMMV.

The base is the first two flavors. In chatting with the good folks at VTA I found out the best use for VTA Milkshake Base is as an additive in a mix and at a lower percent than I was initially using it at.

MB Milkshake and VTA Milkshake Base create an excellent, nearly perfect, milkshake base. MB Milkshake has a really nice creaminess. It also has a fairly light vanilla note. The malt taste from both flavors steeps out after 3 weeks leaving a very nice milkshake base.

Chocolate Mousse paired with Chocolate Base gives it more of a milk chocolate flavor. And this mix would also lean that way with just the chocolate mousse (due to the milkshakes). I wanted it to be more 'pronounced'.

The chocolates could be left out for a very generic milkshake base. A vanilla, and/or a custard, could be added for more of a 'nilla shake base. Then any fruit, or medley of fruits, could then be added.

A bakery note (cake, cookie etc. etc.) for more complexity and texture could also be added. There is more that could be done with just the base. Like other dairy, creams, nuts, coffee or yogurt (ones use of imagination is the only limitation ;)).

    Somewhere between here and there
We watched that last night. Thought it was ok. They spent a lot of time on part of the backstory. I'm sure it'll pick up steam in another episode or two. It should, it's made by the same folks who did the Mandalorian.

If you go under "Suggested" for the Book of Boba Fett there is a decent 22 minute show that goes into the complete backstory of Boba Fett. It's called "Under the Helmet the Legacy of Boba Fett". I liked it.

The girls keep telling us we "must" watch The Mandalorian. So, yeah, that's on the list.

I might check it out. I really liked the mandolorian and am hoping for a new season.

FWIW, I went lower with MB Milkshake. It could be used 3.6%-6% if desired. I SFT'ed it at 4% and felt it could be pushed further as a main flavor. Going higher would bring out much more of its creaminess and bring in more of the vanilla note. It would still be a 'mild' vanilla though.

I went lower with the MB thinking the chocolates would get drowned out otherwise. Maybe they wouldn't, IDK. Thinking there would likely be less chocolate flavor though.

At some point I'll add an ice cream or one of the several IC bases I have to it. For DIY Milkshake Science! :D

The girls have been on me to sign up for Prime. I know from posts in this thread that Prime has The Wheel of Time. The books by Robert Jordan, which the series is based on, were really good.

From looking at other series Prime has, ummm yeah, I'll probably pay up front for a year (savings) and go for it.

Almost anything science fiction is up my alley. But then again, I also loved the new Dumbo on Disney!!! That little kid in me needs satisfaction too.

I brought my smart TV up here a while back. Have it hooked up via ethernet. What's nice about it is it has all the different streaming apps built in. Vizio adds new ones all the time. I had no idea there were so many free ones. We setup a bunch of those.

I did sign up for Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ and ESPN bundle. I already had HBO Max free through AT&T.

Silly me,, for the life of me I don't know why I waited so long to cut cable and go all streaming. Oh well, I live, I learn!

I just watched a bit of the news and supposedly the sleet has made the roads icy. They don’t recommend traveling so I won’t. They said the storm front moved north some so we may not get as much as originally forecasted. It’s still going to be really cold with a low around zero.

I watched the first episode of the Book of Boba Fett on Disney plus. It was ok but not fantastic. I don’t really feel like watching more tv so might go organize a little and maybe mix something.
I watched it as well. I thought it was watchable but that is it. I'm hoping the series improve and that they were trying to build character in the first episode.

    Happy New Year!
I ate whatever I wanted to yesterday and was highly disappointed. I couldn't taste anything. I'm back to no carbs today and will stick with it-since I can't taste anything anyways. Whats the point of eating?

I totally forgot about watching the new episode of Wheel yesterday. I’ll probably wait until the morning tomorrow when it’s quiet.
I'm going to try again and watch this series. Hubs and I tried watching the first episode and all he did was critique the show. I do have hearing loss/tinnitus in my left ear so I have to pay attention to what I watch. I usually will just stream on laptop and use headphones. I made it though about 1/2 the episode and turned it off. Hubs didn't like it and I was tired of hearing his complaints.

Well, pretty much because you have to eat. I sure wish your taste would come back though.

Did I mention yet that my SM landed in La yesterday?
That's for the Kumo RDTA right?

LA as in the very lovely City of Angels or LA as in Louisiana?

~1800 mile difference and all. ;)

Speaking of SM, I finally received my Kumo RTDA. I'm of the opinion that it is just so-so. IMO, it's nothing special or earth shattering flavor wise. Frankly, it's about on par with any of my other RTA's or RDTA's.

The design of how it wicks is novel though. It is about as easy as any RTA or RDTA I own for setup and wicking.

For best flavor the coil needs to be as close to the side AF as possible. I set my coil about 0.75mm from the AF. The coil should also be raised so the AF is hitting the bottom 1/3 of the coil (like any side AF RBA). If you don't do both, quite honestly, you will not get decent flavor.

The coil mounting posts are on the same side. If you have problems coiling your Dvarw's (wrapping the coil legs) the Kumo is "more friendly" that way (no wrapping legs). Be sure to snip your coil legs real close to the posts or they will short when you put the top cap on.

If you are using 26g, or thinner wire, you will need to hold the legs in the center directly under each hex screw while tightening the screw or they will not catch properly. You will see exactly what I mean once you coil your Kumo. I used 26/36 316L clapton wire and needed to hold the legs in the center for a solid connection.

Wicking is a total breeze. Cut tails to the edges of the deck, fluff the crap outta them and set each into its well. Juicing up the wick (like I do with all RBA's) will help to get the juice flowing from the tank section. :)
