Don’t have either of those. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about PB, so just bought the one

TFA DX PB is pretty good imo so you did good choosing that one. Do you have FA Cookie? It has some AP in it so you could add some of it to see if that helps the PB pop. Again I'd suggest a light touch or well, you get the picture. :D There are other flavors that have AP as well but FA Cookie was the first one to come to mind and it seems like it might fit okay with your other ingredients.

As you mentioned also, a little more steeping time certainly won't hurt any but I would think after two weeks you should be getting a decent PB flavor out of it by now.

between here and there
I’m testing the reece’s cereal... this is v1 ( Tuesday will be 2 weeks for it). I’m getting more chocolate, a touch of cereal, not pb :(. Not sure if it needs more steep, or % adjustments.
Dx pb 4%
Choc chunks 2%
Cereal 27 3%
Almond cookie 1%

Thoughts????
I find that TFA PB needs a longer steep. Maybe wait another week and retest.

:)

It can definitely help but some folks have a real strong reaction to AP. I'd suggest trying it @ 0.5% or less, at least initially, or else it might end up tasting more like Frito's Corn Chips.

It does add nuttiness but you can only use a small amount or it tastes like corn chips.

So, if I mix up some AP straight, I can stop giving money to Frito-Lay? ;)

Actually, as the wick breaks in ( new rda, first run after a bath and build), the pb and cereal is starting to show up. I definitely think a bit more steep is needed. Still tastes a little willy nilly

I have FA cookie. It’ll be two weeks mid next week. I’ll try it again before adding cookie.

TY for the troubleshooting everyone !!!

Never thought to mix TFA DX PB with Cap. What % do you use when you want the PB up front?

It depends on how many other ingredients I have in the mix but if I really want the PB to stand out I have commonly used TFA DX PB @ 3% and CAP PB @ 2%. I have also switched it up and had CAP PB being the larger percentage, which is also good, but I tend to prefer having TFA in the majority. In less complex recipes I have reduced the percentages to 2% and 1% respectively and still obtained good flavor.

It may just be me but I find the more nuances I try to add ( even with small overall amounts ) to a recipe with PB, the less prominent it actually becomes so I either keep it pretty simple or I bump up the PB.

It is. I'm also sitting on sfts for FLV Pineapple and INW Pineapple. I used the INW in a mix already, it seems to be more of a fresh acidic pineapple. Finger test on the FLV seemed more sweet and cooked, like fruit cup pineapple. Still trying to clone up a pineapple cream and think my next attempt will be mostly a mix of the VTA sugarloaf at 5% and the Inawera pineapple at 2 to 3%.
Flv is pretty good, just a tad candied but not to much. I get a slight floral note from Inw so Im not all that fond of it. I really like the VTA but I like a touch of cap with it.

I have been experimenting with HIC's Heart of Andes. It is great as written but it needed a little more flavor for my tastes. I upped the flavor percentages by 50% on each flavor - 1.5% rather than 1% for most flavors, 3% instead of 2% of Peppermint in HIC's recipe. That was good but it worked better for me with 2% Peppermint and .5% WS-23. I also added 1.5% VTA Sweet Cream. With this addition, I tried leaving out the marshmallow but it didn't really work as well without marshmallow, even when I added a bit of sweetener. I also went with INW Vanilla Shisha instead of the called for FA Vanilla Bourbon. I think the INW pops just a bit more. So, after a week of testers, I have arrived at this as best for my tastes. It is a bit creamier and a touch sweeter than the original. I guess I should give it a new name.

Peppermint Snowfall
Cream Fresh (Panna Fresca) (FA) 1.5%
Cream, Vienna (FA) 1.5%
Marshmallow (FA) 1.5%
Peppermint (Mild Winter) (FA) 2%
Sweet Cream (VTA) 1.5%
Vanilla Shisha (INAWERA) 1.5%
WS-23 (30% solution) 0.5%

I plan to test the Cran-Apple made with the SC Cranberry tomorrow. Fingers crossed on that one.

I’ve been vaping the cranberry cocktail for a few days now and it’s not bad solo but the flavor still seems a little weak at 6%.

I don't think I am a fan of that flavor. Another one for the box of things I never use.

I couldn't find it, so yep you didn't post it. Sounds good tho.

    :)
I'm pretty sure I can recreate it.Cap ny cc at 5% with TFA Graham @ 2%. Light touch of bourbon so FLV Bourbon @ ,5%. The chocolate is Chocolate Mouse and I think 2% (or 3). I also think FA Fresh Cream at 1%

I want to put this here so I don't lose it before I mix it.

    Hazelnut Sugar Cookie
    FA Cookie 1%
    INW Biscuit .75%
    Cap Sugar Cookie 2%
    WF Hazelnut and Cream 2%
    Cap Hazelnut 1.5%
    INW Vanilla Shisha ,75%
    TFA VBIC 1%
Hmmm I actually have all those flavors except the vbic....
Oops, also don't have FA Cookie.
