Yeah, and people hated it.

I'll tell you one thing: I deeply hated going to school in the dark the year my family lived in England.
I love the super early morning darkness, the calm and quiet, no matter what time of year it is. Those are great times to go for long walks. No city noise, near zero traffic, no people... perfect.

You know, there will still be X amount of people who B, P and M about it no matter what they ultimately decide. Either way it doesn't matter to me.

I went after work and picked up my lawn chemicals for the year. I also came home and spread some preventer and some fertilizer. Time now to relax a couple hours before bed.
    Sounds like a good plan.

Tasty. I’m gonna have to do more mango mixes.

I should have paid more attention today. A co-worker just came back from FL and mentioned a drink that she tried with mango and a touch of bourbon in it. I'll have to find out what else was in it but the combo sounded like it had vaping potential.

Work was a train wreck today, fingers crossed for a less turbulent Thursday. The best part is I'm working from home on Friday. It's supposed to get close to 70deg. so the hubby and I have a date to take a walk together in the afternoon. I'm so looking forward to it.

That winter in England, it wasn't early morning darkness. It wasn't fully light till 10 a.m.

Whichever way it goes makes no difference to me personally. I do feel sorry for kids and workers hauling themselves out of bed and out the door in darkness, though.

When I went to school in England it started at 9.00am. It was still dark in the winter. High latitude thing.

Did my share of driving kids to school in the US, divided families where the kids spend half their time outside of school bus range. Those early starts are no fun. Not good for kids or adults. I read that kids naturally go to sleep late and wake up late. Early starts mean they don't get enough sleep and wake up in a bad mood. My step kids in their early teens used to get dressed in their school clothes before they went to bed so they didn't have to get dressed in the morning. Seemed gross, but it worked for them.

That's exactly what I remember. Dark by 4, too.

If full-time DST is enacted, both parents and children are going to be moaning come winter.

I’d like to hear about that mango drink. Friday is supposed to be nice here too. Possible 68.
