The current one is only 2 years old, but it is hard on them sitting out not being used.

I take it that you don’t have a charger? They make a thing called a battery tender that keeps a small charge on a battery when it’s stored long term. My boss uses them on some of his stuff.

This will give you an excellent caramel...
    FA Caramel 1%-2%
    FW Caramel Candy 1%-1.5%
    FW Butterscotch Ripple 3.5%
    FA Butterscotch 2%

Adding these will make it even more convincing...
    FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) 3%-3.5%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.75%
    FLV Cream 1%

I can't source FA Madagascar locally...found the others though.
You have a good substitute for it?

FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) was renamed FA Vanilla Classic by Flavour Art. Sorry Fred, I should have mentioned that. :)

Flavour Forest in Wellington has it in-stock.

I do, but I monkeyed around with it, putting a switch on it so I wouldn't have to disconnect it from the battery everytime I drove it. I guess I ruined it doing that. I've since been reading of people who've driven without disconnecting, without problems.

I was just vaping some of my Swiss Chocolate mix. While I do like it the mousse is better IMO.
I've been waiting for you to try Swiss Chocolate before offering my thoughts about it.

I think it's a good chocolate flavor. IMO it has more of a baking cocoa powder taste to it.

Perhaps, its strength lies in enhancing, or boosting, other VTA chocolates versus being used as a main flavor in a mix. Or as a background flavor in a mix to offer a hint of chocolate.

Thinking something like this for example, Chocolate Mousse 2% (or any other VTA choc.) and Swiss Chocolate 0.5% - 0.75%.

I’ve been working on a recipe to use the Swiss chocolate and think I’ll take your advice and pair it with another chocolate.

I agree. It doesn’t quite cut it solo.

I spent some time browsing the many concentrates at Flavour Forest. They certainly have a very large selection of flavors. :thumb:

Yeah I was very pleasantly surprised...to say the least.
I had my cart at BCF loaded but their only international shipping option is Fedex...and that is way to much.
I expected to get drips and drabs from the few suppliers here...plus i'll have to import from Aussie.
I was blown away when I saw Flavor Forest's selection...and its right here in my home town.
