I’m up way past my bedtime. We just got home from my daughter’s show downtown. It was really good. Hopefully I can wind down soon. I really need to get some work done on writing reviews before everyone wakes up tomorrow.

I keep most of it. I guess im a hoarder at heart. Once in a while it’s good to have a previous version of a device to compare with a new model for a review. Some stuff I’ve given away to friends. It really has gotten out of hand and I keep telling myself I’m going to go through it an get rid of some but I’m also a pretty good procrastinator.

That's scary, farm equiptment, trucks ships, heating oil, freight trains, WTF is going on with these a holes

Regrettably the #2 oil producer and the #3 grain producer are in conflict which in today interconnected economies is having massive ripple effects. Not going to dive to deep as it might be considered political.. but its not just companies getting greedy or lazy.

Can you provide a link to an article or two about this? An (admittedly lackadaisical) search yielded nothing.

Yeah give me some time. Was reading it on a company article let me see if I can get it
DEF Fluid - Diesel Exhaust Fluid Shortage from June 2022 to Sept 2022
    talks about it a bit.
DEF and Urea Shortage Is Another Casualty of Supply Chain Crisis

    FYI all - https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/molecule-of-the-week/archive/u/urea.html
I found that article interesting. Doesn't talk about Diesel fuel much though, mostly fertilizer and such. Which should be another concern.

I guess it's time to start stocking up slowly again (not panic hoarding, but stocking up). The rumors at work are flying (not any industry specific work, or specific info, just unrelated industry shop talk) about stocking up and diesel shortages coming. Probably driven by the same social media y'all are discussing. Without getting "political" or taking "sides" on all this, one has to wonder why the USA isn't more independent on these things. Nat gas and even crude. I mean we were "energy independent" (produced at least as much as we used) back when Obama was in office.

And I don't know what the hell this "DEF/AdBlue" stuff is. Is that common in your diesel car/truck or is it industrial?

    P.S.
Maybe gas stations need to install special urinals and we all pee into them to recycle the urea.........:D Waste not want not!

DEF is a requirement for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles with diesel engines produced after 2010. The vehicle is programmed to inject the DEF into the exhaust stream to meet emissions requirements. If the vehicle is allowed to run out of DEF, the engine performance will be reduced, and lower speeds are imposed.

One of the articles to which @Chiisaiinu linked said the speed is limited to 5 MPH if the DEF runs out. If that's true, wow.

I’m not sure if it’s true but know our drivers at work use it.

I got a gallon of massey ferguson grey oil based grey alkyd enamel for the front porch, but it's drizzling now, and I try not to work on Sunday so I guess i will have to wait:)
Waiting sounds like a good idea to me. I never was a big fan of painting.

got to bed late and of course was awake late, soon time to improve myself.
Vape on Berserker mini v2, thought I should get it emptied and then try Fran's ice cream base, the other for the day is a tripod.

I hope you like the base. I really like it with added fruit but also good with chocolate.

Morning, mixers, and happy Saturday :)

Rain continues, although starting to ease up. Maybe. Way past "average" June rainfall already. At least the dust bowl won't reach here. This year.

So, yeah, more watching the dandelions gain stature.
