    Somewhere between here and there
Good afternoon. I guess I picked the wrong time to mow. It actually cooled off two degrees after I finished. I need to go pick up some grub control for the lawn later.

No vape mail today which is good. I need to get caught up on reviews.

I'll try the other pod that came with it. It's lightweight so I'll use it for work. My current set up is heavy in the scrub pants. I really should carry a pod like this or the vinci but worried about leakage. The temp is 43 and I have a ton of tomato and pepper plants I need to place in the cold frame. Last year I was already thinking of planting but this spring has been a cold one so far.
This is a old post of mine. Just thought I would mention that I haven't touched the pod since. I tried to like it. Going to give it to a nurse friend. Maybe she will stop the smokes.
I've been busy with the garden. I work one day a week. I'm still trying to figure out my knee pain. I'm thinking a calcium deficiency since I don't drink milk and my multivitamin has very little calcium.

I'm still vaping my big jugs of e liquid I made last month. I'm happy with my old skool vaping stuff.
It's 66 degrees here in the frozen tundra. Stay warm or cool. :)

Good to hear from you. :) Hope the garden is growing well.

I don't consider vaping a bad habit at all.
Generally speaking consuming toxins like nicotine I consider bad. Better then smoking, but definitely worse then not doing either. We could wander down the semantics trail and say the air and food we consume also have toxins, however we are not directly attempting to put those toxins into our body.

3 more of my Vanilla Bases. Each offers very different tasting vanilla notes. They run the range from light and bright, to medium, to darker more earthy.

    Vanilla Bourbon

    FA Vanilla Bourbon 1.5%
    SSA Madagascar Vanilla 1.5%
    SSA Clotted Cream 1.5%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.75%

An earthy, darker tasting vanilla mix. In this mix I counterbalanced Vanilla Bourbon with the Madagascar Vanilla. This created the rich notes found in both vanillas.

"Bourbon Vanilla is a generic term for Vanilla Planifolia and is the variety of vanilla most commonly used for producing vanilla extract. Vanilla Planifolia stock originated in Mexico, vanilla's birthplace, but cuttings were taken to other tropical regions in the 1700s."

    Vanilla Classic

    FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) 2.5%
    SSA Classic Vanilla 1%
    FLV Cream 1%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.5%

A medium tasting nice full bodied vanilla mix. SSA Classic Vanilla brings a very rich tasting vanilla note. This vanilla mix is what most Americans would be familiar with.

    Vanilla Borneo

    FA Madagascar 2.5%
    SSA Borneo Vanilla 1%
    FLV Cream 1%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.5%

A bright vanilla mix that features SSA Borneo Vanilla. It's the main vanilla note. Borneo vanilla comes from Borneo. It is a sweeter and creamy tasting vanilla (not 'sweet' in the way folks would normally regard as sweet).

Each is excellent on it's own. I vape them 'as is' but also add other flavors.

Any of the above mixes can be used as bases for bakery, chocolate(s), coffee(s), fruit, milkshake, nuts, tea. Adding an ice cream, or two, will create a more complex tasting IC.

@Zazie can you please add these to Tips And Whatnot as Vanillas Part 2? Can you rename the other one to Vanillas Part 1? Thank you. :)

I haven't made any tea mixes since... last year. Need to look at my notebook. Try to figure out some new fruits to use with FA black tea, FW white tea and FE green tea.

Hi SMT. So you like FE GT? I still haven't found my favorite green. FA black and FW white are my go-tos as well. But green? Can't decide.
Maybe a tea with a fruit and a nut (hazelnut / walnut???). Haven't mixed a tea with a nut yet.

    Nope.

Hiya Katya, thought I sensed you flying around here. ;)

Yes, FE GT is my favorite green. In a mix 0.3% - 0.6% works well for me. Wouldn't go over 0.6%.

I have TFA GT, and it's good, but I don't think as good as FE GT.

I'm planning on using TFA and FE GT's in one of my next tea mixes. But that's mainly as a test to satisfy my own curiosity.

Chicken!!! ;) Just teasin' ya. :D A while back I was looking at many green tea recipes and learned that it works "particularly well with a creamy hazelnut milk and a touch of sweetness".

Also, there is an Amaretto hazelnut green tea that looks like it might be tasty. GT with almond, hazelnut and chocolate.

I wrote down many GT, WT and BT ideas from RL tea websites. However, because FE GT is a light, or what I call a fragile flavor, other flavors need to be adjusted accordingly. I think getting the flavors balanced is the key to success. Trial and error. ;)

There sure are a ton of RL tea ideas out there.

I haven't mixed anything in months. Gotta finish my last Ahlusion and Halo e-liquids. They are probably too old to vape now, but still taste OK. Gonna miss them...

    Guilty as charged.

TY. Keep us posted. IIRC, the FE GT was very potent and a bit sweet for my taste, but maybe I could use less. My notes are vague...

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. SSA makes a Green Tea that I tried and quickly dumped. Thought it was gross. I put SSA GT in my Flavor Corner of Shame.

Medicine Flower makes a black tea and a green tea. I may try those someday.

You're welcome. It is a potent flavor. Maybe try 1 drop FE GT in a 10ml tester??? 1-2 drops FA Vanilla Bourbon would help to offset any sweetness. FA VB would also add a nice creamy vanilla note and add a touch of earthiness to the tea. FA Madagascar would also work minus the earthiness.

I'm going to try my hand at first time DIY a week from today. I have enough flavors to test a handful of recipes so I'm good for first mix. I've got 14 flavors in shopping cart at Bull City and I'd like to place an order. It's supposed to be 104 here today, 105 tomorrow and probably no real break until late Sept. It seems I may have chosen a poor time to start DIY if hot azz temps will affect flavors during the ship time. That's my question, will 90-100 temps affect flavors during the time it takes to ship from NC to TX? Anyone notice their flavors affected when ordering in the summer? I should be able to get it out of my mailbox within a half hour once they arrive so it shouldn't bake in there for too long.

I've bought flavors in the summer and I don't live that far from you. I've never had a problem with flavors going bad.
